Here's another example of what it's like to be King of the Wieners:
It all starts when I send a request to headlock entitled "Please don't start any threads for a while:"
Sent on 29.12.03 1834 Look, I'm BEGGING you not to start new threads in the Wrestling forum. You're welcome to reply to existing threads, but I'd really like you to try to get a feel for the community before you open another thread. Help me out, please show me you're just being clueless and not deliberately trying to get banned here. Blindly ignoring a board's admins is the best way to get kicked off their board.
Sent on 29.12.03 1917 heylook man I'm sorry if I'm starting beef with other users. I'm new to the whole "wienerboard" thing and am just excited about being able to communicate with other wrestling fans. I've been a wrestling fan since 1986 and have been very dedicated to the Business and have not missed a show in 17 years. I do own a great deal of wrestling knowledge and was just excited to share some of my facts with others. By doing so I believe it may have come across that I was treating this "community" like a bunch of idiots. I don't like to be treated like a wrestling-idiot either. I apologize.
I would like to continue to add threads as it is my best way to communicate my love for wrestling with others. True lovers of this business are hard to find and I feel this is my best way to release my need to share oppinions and facts with other fans.
I would like to add a thread with a public apology and than I would like to continue to add threads spreading knowledge and oppinions. I will use better paragraphs and I will not treat this "community" like idiots again.
I once again apologize and hope that people start to realize I'm not some clueless smark, that I even have history in the Business and just wanna share knowledge. And, receive some while I'm at it.

You've come on way too strongly, get defensive really quickly, and so far seem prone to posting flamebait. Correct or not, the impression that is most likely to be received from the community is that any apology you post at this time will appear shallow and hollow.
Once again, I'd like you to just ease back, hold off and limit your activity to leaving replies in existing threads rather than starting your own. I hope you can respect my wishes.
Sent on 29.12.03 2054 am I just to understand that I'm to not add any threads whatsoever?? I'm sorry if this makes me a little bit upset but I dont think you truly understood my letter to you. Is everybody in this "community" realy this sensitive? I'm not talkin smack but, coim on. I enjoy communicating about wrestling and this is the perfect forum for that. I think you should reconsider and allow me one more chance. I'll improve my threads giving less information and more oppinion. I'm sorry if I think you're being unreasonable. please e-mail me back thank u

One more time, I am ASKING that you refrain from beginning new threads for a while to get a feel for the community, especially in places where it looks like all that was necessary was a new reply onto an existing thread. I have no problem with you posting new replies and am encouraging you to help where you can. Try to look around and see how it works here first.
Sent on 29.12.03 2223 dude, u dont know me...so quit talkin to me like u do..how about talkin to me like an adult, okay...i'm goin to post more threads in the future...i'm goin to be more selective on the content and the way I put it across but, the way you chose to handle yourself in this conversation between you and I has been unexceptable to me. I was being very apologetic and sincere when writing to you but did not get sincerity in return. u dont know the Business so quit trying to play politics...please dont look at this letter as an agressive means of communication as i'm trying to let you feel my frustrations in an extremly impersonal way of communication...

Sent on 29.12.03 2343 You know what, I'm pretty sure I HAVE been treating you like an adult, your lack of grammar, spelling and punctuation notwithstanding. I don't know what "Business" it is you think I don't know, but the only business I actually *care* about is running this board. I've been doing it since it started, and I like to think I'm pretty good at it. You can call me arrogant all you want, but the simple fact is that I'M running this ship and YOU aren't. I've shown you respect tonight by making my requests to you in private instead of on the public message boards where everybody can see it. I am hoping in turn that you will show equal respect for my position as Administrator and accede to my wishes, which I believe I've made perfectly clear over the past FOUR go rounds of private messages (hint: most people "get it" in one).
There are many, many other message boards which will welcome you with open arms if you have further issues with the way THIS one is run. Cheers!

alright I feel the time is right to find another forum for my thoughts. I feel from the way you've chosen to speak with me that this 'wienerboard' is your life and that you dont have much of a social or professional life outside of your computer. I feel you're probably between 14 an 17 years old and don't know much about the Business or even the big picture of life in general. You go ahead and power trip on the only thing you have control over in your life. thank you for being utterly ignorant in the way you chose to speak with me. Don't worry about continued communication with me as i'm thru with your blessed 'wienerboard. -headlock (on hunger)
Of course, I NOW see that his most recent post was 15 minutes after he wrote me this message. So I guess now I'm just hoping that if he DID decide to stick around after all, perhaps if he can't find my age listed in my profile, he probably won't find his way to the forum on the bottom of the list to read THIS.
1. You have magically divided your age by 2. 2. You, CRZ, the man who recapped RAW, Smackdown, Nitro, Thunder, and god only knows what else since time immemorial, and current keeper of the RSPW ballot, don't know anything about wrestling. 3. You, after BEGGING a man to step back and just breathe a little bit, are rude and disrespectful.
Does that cover all the bases? I would have typed this alot quicker, but I had to stop and wipe a tear from my eye because of laughing so hard....
Headlock:
Before you believe that someone is trying to jerk you around, why don't you try to find out a little more about him? Check out www.slashwrestling.com and browse for a very long time. The site is retired, but you might get a better idea of who you are dealing with and why he is a dictator. BENEVOLENT, but still a dictator.
*Bows down to the Zed* All hail! *Snort*
If the foolish man built his house on the sand, why is beach-front property so expensive?!
Isn't it illegal for you to get married if you're only 14? Wow...California must have some CRAZY LAWS!
[If you can't tell, I was being sarcastic.]
That guy is DUMB. Very dumb. And I bet cash money...well, fake internet money, that he's probably still gonna post here outta spite. Or stupidity. Or both.
Long live the king indeed.

Chris, I think you bent over backwards trying to be patient with this poster. While he found your behavior "unexceptable," I thought you handled yourself with grace and style. Kim should be very pleased with her teenaged husband!
Thanks for sharing this with us. Like Screaming Dude up there, I really miss the "I Get Letters" columns.
excuse me. EXCUSE ME . . . Intercontinental Champion here . . .
Kudos to the Z for the amount of patience and tolerance he took in addressing the dense headlock. I was waiting for Z's last response to start with "Look asshole..." but it didn't. Cheers to Z.
I think if for some reason the internet ever collapsed on itself and went away, it's people like this I would miss most of all. I mean, I just don't come across that many people who own a great deal of knowledge in my day-to-day life.
I'm forced to wonder, though...if headlock thought PMs were an "extremly impersonal way of communication", what exactly was he expecting? CRZ to drive to his house, bonk him on the head with a rolling pin, and tell him not to start any more threads?
