Eddy Guerrero b Spike Dudley Raven b Matt Hardy - since this airs on Sunday, I guess that just means Raven will only work Heat for a while as his gimmick. Tommy Dreamer b Johnny Stamboli (Jon Hugger aka Johnny the Bull) via DQ for a low blow Sean O'Haire b Justin Credible
Awesome! O'Haire I really like, and Johnny the Bull was decent. I'll actually watch Heat this Sunday.
Matthew: You would've loved it, David. A week in a foreign country, strange people, strange customs... Dave: Oh, I know what you mean. I've been to Canada.
O'Haire looked really impressive, but no Sean-ton Bomb. I'll be interested to see if his new finisher gets a name. He's let his hair grow out some, too. Also, we were unsure if he was to be a face or a heel.
Johnny was okay, he cut a promo beforehand dissing Cleveland, so the crowd was on him pretty well. Jackie was the ref, and when Johnny wouldn't stop beating on Dreamer, she clotheslined him down to a big pop.
Should be a good show of Heat, can't wait to hear *D-LO*!
One of the most tried and true methods of building up someone into a huge star is the undefeated streak method. While it doesn't always work (see Tatanka), in recent times we have seen it have two major triumphs in Goldberg and Lesnar.
