Thought this was amusing. They aired the entire segment but seamlessly editted out both the "Goldberg" chants as well as the Rock's clever Ira Goldberg comment. Sort of a shame cause that was pretty damn funny.

But you think the WWE is a bit insecure with it's predicability or what?

That, and the fact that, while it WAS pretty amusing, it didn't add anything to the dialog. It was just an unplanned ad-lib, that really kinda ruined the suspense of the moment.

I can't get over how brilliant Rock's selling of the spear was. It was both totally awesome and hilarious at the same time. The image of Rock, eyes bulged out, convulsing like he just had been stabbed in the stomach, BRILLIANT. It was the most beautiful thing in wrestling I have seen since Kurt Angle's cage moonsault.

The funniest thing, to me, was that I recall Rock selling the GORE as a hell of a lot more devastating. I think he even managed to throw in a backwards somersault.

Rock always oversells to the point of ludacricity (is that a word?). Just like when he sells the Stunner. He always looks like he just got hit in the chin with a Anvil.

First off, I thought the article was great and dead-on. The fact that it's on WWE.com is a pleasant surprise, but I tend to think its presence is as calculated as anything else we get from the WWE.
