You know, I'm one of the few geeks who watches Sunday Night Heat because I love seeing the mid-carders in actual wrestling matches.
So, that being said, did anyone else watch it and see Test's new finisher? Holy cow! It's kind of a twisting Scorpion Death Drop or something and I thought he was going to break Hurricane's neck. Has anyone else seen it? What is it called?

I`ve heard it being called "the roll of the dice" when other people have used it, but I don`t know what Test calls it.

I watched that Heat match, and I was hell impressed by both Hurricane and Test and how the crowd was reacting to both men. As far as the finisher, it got a huge reaction from the crowd because Hurricane sold it like a mother.

When Reno did the move, I always wondered what the hell it was supposed to accomplish because it looked like Reno was just falling on his back, but Test obviously (as wrestling can be) drove Hurricane's head into the mat. I thought it was a wicked finisher and really adds to Test's arsenal because he can hit that, the Meltdown, the top rope elbowdrop, the layout powerbomb, or Wotsitallaboot...holy crap he's got a number of finishers--I probably missed a few.

-The best part of Heat to me was the RVD/Lance Storm match. They sure fit a lot of action into a 5 minute match, and it made me wish they gave it another 2-3 minutes.

-What was with the Edge/Perfect match ending? What was the point of that?

I think they are trying to do a thing where perfect has an excuse for every match he loses so he can stay "Perfect".
Last week against Kane it was an exabition, this week he got DQ'ed. He'll probably get counted out next week.

RVD/Storm was outstanding, and I really dug Test/Hurricane too. I think Test debuted that move about a week or so ago and it is sick looking. It doesn`t have a name yet, because on Heat, Tazz and Coach were talking about how Test hasn`t told them what he calls it.

Wait a minute, you mean Heat had Hurricane vs. Test, Edge vs. Perfect, AND RVD vs. Lance? THat's better than a Raw or Smackdown card.

I was hoping for a RVD vs. Lance feud when they had that triple threat (or was it four corners) IC title number on contender, they had some REALLY good matches in their ECW days.

Damn. Why can't he lend Booker one or two. I thought they were supposed to be buddies and everything.

I have to agree, Test's new finisher should have been given to Booker. Test had three legit finishers (I don't believe he's ever used the layout powerbomb regularly as a finisher), with the Wotsitollaboot being the best, and he's given yet another nice move. Meanwhile, Booker is stuck with the sidekick, which is a nice setup move, but not a credible finisher. This wouldn't be so bad if he were still capable of regularly doing the Harlem Hangover or the missile dropkick.

All roads, apparently, lead back to Booker T.

Maybe they'll give this one an actual NAME. I vote for "The Test Drive."

Could be, but it would of worked better if they didn't have him job cleanly to Austin.

What did everyone think of the format of Heat returning to the good ol' arena style? I thought the show went much smoother on Sunday, and the quality of the matches I felt were top notch..for Heat anyways.

HEAT is fast becoming the show to watch if you want to see wrestling. I'm starting to think about ditching RAW and just watching HEAT.

Not that I would want to agree with Scott Keith or Sean Shannon, but one of them a couple years ago said Heat was "the wrestling show." Although it is filled with the same recaps as Excess,Jakked and even what was seen on Raw/SD, The wrestling has always been heats strong point. It's the chance to see alot of wrestlers who would otherwise have no tv time. I was big time pleased with the RVD/Storm match and Hurricanes interview was way cool. Tazz and Coach even mentioned ECW! Ocassionaly they actually discuss Heat on Raw/SD but it needs to be built up as an important a network show as all the others.

For what it's worth, Test's inverted spinning neckbreaker was Christopher Daniels' 'Last Rites' finisher, then Reno's 'Roll of the Dice'. I doubt we'll see it often, since apparently Test injured his opponent.
