Great! just fucking awesome. I love these half shoot promos when the WWE will basically admit that something they did was shit.

What it doesn't make up for is TYPING IN ALL CAPS!
And to be fair, the flag humping ass showing Michaels pre-dates his Christianity.

Murder and rape pre-dated a lot of death row inmates' Christianity as well.
While on the subject, I doubt his sincerity to the faith. If he really had a serious problem with necrophilia and the other WWE trash stunts, he wouldnt even participate in this debacle(a la Sting, and Bret Hart). He just seems to flip flop between the good Christian and the arrogant boy-toy too much. He wants to have it both ways.

It's not just that claiming to be born again does NOT wipe out past trangressions.
It's the fact that one can't help but think that if Shawn's newfound faith was so important to him, like he CLAIMS it is, he MIGHT have a problem collecting a paycheck from an organization that promotes and markets violence and sexism to children, most of whom are too young to "get" the idea that it's all supposed to be (wink, wink) just good fun.
Yeah, a true believer might have a problem with that little detail. But Shawn, prissy jerkoff that he is, sails right on like it's just another day in paradise.
He's an ass, and for my money he can't go away fast enough.

| #18 Posted on 19.11.02 0020.55 | For the love of God, people (pun not intended)! This is a TV SHOW!! Shawn is playing a character!! You know what? Robert Englund is a Christian. Remember him? He played Freddy Krueger! Should we say that he must not really be a Christian, because he played a vicious killer in his movies?

They should push Batista as the RAW monster and have D-VON DUDLEY beat Brock Lesnar and become the Smackdown monster and have a big payoff fight on PPV.
Those two are the future of pro-wrestling.

Part of a wrestling angle? Let's see, he gets betrayed by HHH, beats him in a match, gets injured, makes a triumphant return, wins the World title, gaining a measure of vengeance over the man who put him in a wheelchair. Which part of all that is based around his Christianity? That he said he "believes" in himself? That he has "faith" in his chances of winning the title?
And how is it that making it public equals making it our business? The fact that he mentioned the fact that he's Born Again gives us the right to judge him? It's all our business because he didn't keep it a secret? | | Pages: 1 2 Next
