I posted this on the OOForums, but they seem to be kinda slow lately, so thought I'd post it here too.
Haven't seen this brought up before (but I haven't been here TOO much so I might have just missed it). But if I did the math right, eight weeks before this past Monday (when Steph's doc said she was 8 weeks along) was Dec. 10 -- the day after Vengeance. (one week before was 1/28 ... 1/21, 1/14, 1/7, 12/31, 12/24, 12/17, 12/10).
Vengeance, of course, is when Y2J won the undispyooted titles. Think that might play into who the father is? That Steph decided she wanted to be with whomever the champ was? That Jericho will say "yes, she's a filthy, rotton, no-good, dirty ho, but she's MY ho"? For some reason I have this feeling that the "when" will turn out to be important, but I dunno.
They easily could keep her off tv if they want to. If they go on with the angle ofcourse. Steph could be away for 6 months after they decided it is too dangerous for her to be at ringside or backstage..
That would also get rid of the 'she has to look more pregnant every time you see her' problem.
I don't know if it is going to be Jericho. I don't think the answer will be given tonight. Sounds to me like a good moment to bring in the nWo and 'forget' who the dad is for another week or so

I read the article last night, it's a good read, if terribly one-sided. The inclusion of Austin's domestic dispute as a sidebar was unnecessary, I thought. It's unlikely you'll be seeing Stone Cold back in the WWE anytime soon.
