This is something that I've been noticing. Nash has yet to do anything of significance since returning. He's pretty much the 7' guy that gangs out with Hogan and Hall.

I don't like Nash at all - but even still - I think I would've liked NOT to have a reason to continue calling him "Big Lazy."

Can you dig it, sucka?

He's Diesel again. He's Hogan and Nash's Big ass bodyguard. Only, that gimmick was better when the guy who he was guarding was a little whiny bitch, who actually needed protecting.

It seems to me that of all three nWo'ers, Hall is getting the biggest push of the bunch. Hogan's headling WM and all, but it's all about Hall. Hall gets the most mic time and all the camera time.

Possibly because he's the youngest, and thus has the most shelf life left for a WWF career.

Hogan's pretty much washed up, and Nash is getting there, but of the three, Hall has the best likelyhood to be around in a few years.

Maybe this is Hall's test to see if he'll screw up...that way the WWF cuts their losses sooner rather than later.

Q: If you could have interviewed Marvin Gaye, where would you have proposed to meet and what would you have asked him?

A: I would have met anywhere as long as it was before his father shot him. I would have asked him, "Hey, don't you think there's some chance that your father might shoot you? To death, I mean?"

WHy not state it the other way around?
Maybe this is Scott's chance to prove he has what it takes to be a big star?
WHy the negativity? So far da bad guy has NOT screwed up in any way even going as far as saying he misbehaved the first day..

I think they like Hall's chances to be something big. Hey, they're giving him Austin at Mania, and I have a feeling he'll take it. So they must have a feeling that Hall can potentially be a big time solo star.

Insert clever comment.

You're 100% correct...I guess I phrased it as a "test to see if he'd screw up" because that's been the predicted outcome since Day 1.

Nash has no role because the WWF is scared that Hall will screw up again before Wrestlemania and they will have to fire him. Nash is supposed to be Austin's backup opponent if Hall can't make it.

Sad isn't it?

But not as sad as seeing Kevin Nash 'wrestle' again.

There was a great camera shot at the end of the Spike/Hall match. The cameraman took an angle from Nash's side toward Hall, and you could plainly see Nash's GUT sticking out and filling about half of the screen.
Why are Nash and Hall, for that matter, so darn fat these days? They better do some sit-ups before Wrestlemania.
Hogan, on the other hand, is in great shape. In his last WCW days, the skin on his arms was sagging down and looked like burned trash bags. I think he had surgery to remove it all, because his arms look tight again.

Here's an idea for Nash , put him in a program with Kane.

I'll have to admit that the only reason I want to see this is because it would be a good excuse for Kane to loose the mask ( yes I'm one of those that hate the mask ). Hell , a WWF superstar ought to be able to afford a new face any way . What's he spending his money on , The Godfather's escorts ?

Back to Nash , have him start doing run ins on Kane's matches for no apparent reason . This could culminate in Kane being de masked by Nash .

The reason could be ... Nash has always took exception to Glenn Jacobs portrayal of the Diesel character .

I'm not really a fan of either one , but I think I'd really like to see these two big'uns go at it .

Just a thought .

Ultimately, I think that the 'fat content' of Hall & Nash may have risen, but they both are still in pretty damn good shape. Nash's arms have gotten back to being huge, and Hall still has pretty good definition and tone on his body. I guess that they're looking at it as a 'we don't _need_ to have six packs to look intimidating' kind of thing, and I personally believe it. Nash and Hall may have gained some ounces of fat, but they seem to have the 'old fire' to at least go out there and look like good Jackass Heels. Ultimately, they both make it look as if they could beat the crap out of someone, and people will buy it as they can. And they do look it.. I've been pretty impressed with the shots they've been throwing in their run ins for the most part.. They look reasonably stiff.

Someone might have said this already but maybe the WWF isn't giving him a shot because they THINK he can be a star but because they KNOW he can be a star. I mean if i recall correctly at one point in time as Razor Ramon he was the number two face in the WWF behind Bret Hart.

How do you know this? This kind of thing really gets to me because its classic internet speculation of the worst kind. Do you have ANY evidence whatsoever that the WWF is scared Hall will screw up? No, you don't. He's been the #1 heel of TV for the past two weeks now. With less than 2 weeks to Wrestlemania, they would not be pushing the Austin/Hall match so much if they were at all worried that at the last second, they'd have to put Nash in as a replacement. It doesn't make any sense whatsoever.

Why doesn't Nash have a role yet? Who is to say? Maybe he's not healthy. Maybe they are waiting for the whole roster to get back to give him an opponent. Maybe they didn't want him to overshadow the buildup of Hall as a threat to Austin. Any of these possibilities are equally as likely, if not more so, than the WWF being afraid that Hall will drop the ball. Hell, maybe Shawn Michaels will come back at Smackdown to be Nash's opponent. There are 3 more shows until Wrestlemania...I'm sure everything will flesh out then.

I agree completely. I love how people act like they are hanging out in the back with Sgt. Slaughter and they know all of this stuff just because Bob Ryder told em so.

Newsflash guys! Just because you subscribe to The Torch Newsletter and have 3 copies of the Buzz on Professional Wrestling, it does not make you a smart.

Hall's track record?

I'm not so sure that there's a direct correlation between Nash not wrestling and concerns about Hall. Personally, I think Nash isn't wrestling because the WWF knows how BAD he is in the ring and that what credibility he has is on the mic, but that's just my take.

I can't speak for the WWF, but if they _didn't_ have those concerns about someone like Hall, they'd be out of their minds. (PARTICULARLY after releasing another wrestler not too long ago who went from substance-abuse rehab to "clean" to a DUI very quickly...)

Even then, I doubt if Nash's inactivity is related to fear for Hall screwing up.

Maybe he doesn't have a match because he will be the backup plan for both Hall and Hogan during their matches..
He is the big threat on the outside, the man who can change the course of the match etc..
Probably at WM something will happen to factor him out though or someone will cause him to be a non-factor and his feud starts..

Nash being bad in the ring: His powerbomb on ROck looked alright. And if his offense is sold right by the announcers it could impress some people...oh well..we'll see..

1. If by "huge" you mean "fat", I agree.
2. How can one discern Hall's body definition if he's never taken his shirt off?
3. If by "stiff" you mean "sloppy", right on.

A little common sense:

Nash doesn't have a program because HE doesn't want one.

He's way overweight. He can't move around more than a few steps because the knee and foot surgeries have left him with the mobility of a tortoise. His ego won't allow him to embarrass himself by having an actual match. And, as he himself has admitted on more than one occasion, he's one lazy son of a bitch.

It doesn't take hanging out backstage to reach these conclusions. All one really needs in a pair of eyes and half a brain.

There still is, they run on occasion mainly using AJ Styles as their draw. And russo is legit.
