I am kinda surprised at this. I don't usually bother with the '7' stuff, but seeing all those RAW icons made me curious about what was happening back then that made everyone post.
Personally, I still think it was pretty funny in a completely stupid and retarded way. What about the rest of you, have your views on the segment changed, are you still "refusing to watch RAW ever again"? (Hahaha!) Is Ringmistress still pissed off about it?
I remember it was the first time I started watching with a friend of mine that we changed the channel. You know right then and there that Raw was fucked for a long period of time. Even now, I have trouble remembering when it got better.
2002 was a great year if you remove HHH from it. Its not just net bitching, but all of his angles maybe minus his return was either boring or absurd. He was very overexposed and wasn't ready physically to main event those matches after his injury. If you want a terrible year in wrestling this decade, I would say 2003 with all Evolution all the time on Raw and Brock's push going from hot to cool or right now with Orton/Cena/DX just boring the hell out of everybody and Smackdown's revolving champ door..

Last Raw of 2003. Michaels vs. Triple H classic match in San Antonio. Then Benoit comes to Raw after the Royal Rumble. Raw has its best year ever in-ring with Benoit, Michaels, Edge, and Jericho wrestling Evolution in long TV main events every week. Greatness lasts until Eugene takes over the show and Orton's botched babyface turn.
So it took me a few days to find time to watch this 'event', but I'm glad I did. The Tag Team Chamber was freaking gold, though New Day came close to losing even with a thoroughly stacked deck. In the end 'positivity' (ie 'cheat to win') won out tho.
