I am very interested in seeing the Cubs' color commentator against Chris Styles, but was wondering if anyone has gone to one of their events. I suppose I'm just starved for live, non-WWE pro wrestling and Philly is too far of a drive. I was just curious if anyone has seen these guys live. I guess this is their Wrestlemania.
"America may have some problems, but it's our home. Our team. And if you don't wanna root for your team...then you should get the hell out of the stadium. Go America."--Stan Marsh, South Park
Can't say I've heard of 'em...and I don't know if any of our guys work that far south.
Or next month, you could just scoot north to Green Bay and see Raven vs. Kamikaze Ken Anderson. Much ass shall be kicked.
Star wipe, and...we're out. Thrillin' ain't easy. . . THE THRILL ACW-NWA Wisconsin Home Video Technical Director...& A2NWO 4 Life!
If this weren't the same night as Gatti/Ward 3 I would definitely drive to see that, if only to get my photo taken with Superfly Snuka.
On something of a side note, I see that ROH is going to be making a tenative step into the midwest visiting Dayton on Aug. 9th. I'm thinking this could be road trip material for me having heard so damn much about them. Anyone else thinking of making the 4 or so hour drive?
Well, I'm gonna go (with a camera) and I'll let people know if it was any good. Shane Douglas held their title for 2 days in April and now with LOD and Superfly at least they are getting names...
As for ROH in Dayton. I've been watching some of their matches (American Dragon, Low Ki, Christopher Daniels, etc.) Depending on the card, I could be convinced of a road trip, spf, let's talk more as it gets closer.
I think, for the most part, they already HAVE moved on. The fans that tuned it just to see DX say "suck it" or to see Rena strip make up alot of the 3 ratings points that have fallen off the WWF since the end of the Attitude era.
