Harry Carson is asking that his name be taken out of consideration for the Hall of Fame voters. He's had enough of the rejections. I'm surprised more players haven't opted out. His numbers aren't going to get any better-he's not making any more tackles. They should just give him one more up or down and be done with it.

I think they should've let him in already as one of the stars of the '86 Giants. Best defense ever.

Other than starting the dumping of the Gatorade tradition, Harry Carson does not warrant induction into the Hall of Fame.

He was the 3rd best linebacker on that defense (HARDLY the "best ever") after Taylor & Banks, & pretty much an above average middle linebacker.
Carson was definitely a good character guy & an important part of the '86 Giants, but he did not have a Hall of Fame career.

I don't think its as much the rejection itself, but all the crap with NY media always trying to get his reaction.

How many times should anyone be asked "does it hurt?"

Harry is a classy guy who has done a lot for the community, he was an above average player, and because of that he's a fan favorite. I don't think he's a HOFer.

From everything I've read, the James kid was a slacker crybaby(that's from coaches and teammates). Basically the Tech admins had it out for Leach and used this as an excuse to get rid of him. Can't blame them, I think he's insane, but still.
