To all the Ws out there, Happy Thanksgiving. While it has been a stressful year for many and things kind of suck, there is still alot to be thankful for. Have a safe holiday, eat too much, and pass out in front of the TV watching football or your video drug of choice. Peace.

I am very thankful for my wonderful family and for my continued gainful employment.
I am also very thankful for stuffing and pumpkin pie. MMMMMmmmm... pumpkin pie...

I'm so very grateful this year. We have a house, and the worst decision we need to make is if we should buy name brand or generic items. I'm very grateful that we were able to donate 6 turkeys and food for local families who have harder decisions to make. This year (with the exception of children under 18 and home made food items) we're donating to people in need instead of buying gifts that people probably won't like. We're asking that friends and relatives either buy something for themselves with the money they would have spent on us, or donate it to a charity of their choice.
Happy Thanksgiving. I will be working at Target for 4 hours from 6am to 10, to get ready for "GREEN Friday" as they are so eloquently calling it this year. Thankfully, the afternoon NFL games look like they will stink, so hopefully I can nap until the real game starts. That real game is Arizona vs. Philly by the way.
Regardless, I hope the rest of you have a safe and less busy thanksgiving day.

Doc, as ever, I am thankful for our fantastic country and my friends, both here and in real life, and my Family, without whom I would no doubt be no longer around.
We head for the daughter's boy friend's family's house tomorrow. This should be interesting.
We'll be back right after order has been restored here in the Omni Center.

Happy and safe Thanksgiving to all. I will be working at the radio station after an afternoon Thanksgiving meal with family.
This is my first Thanksgiving as a married man, for which I am more thankful than anything anyone could ever post here.
I win.

Give 'em hell, Curt. Remember, he's more scared of you than you are of him. Use that.
Right now, I'm most thankful for my health, as I had quite hospital-themed adventure last week.
Beyond that, thankful for my maddeningly wonderful family, my irritatingly helpful friends and that job that I'm always whining about.
Basically, I'm happiest to have to complain about meaningless things, because the meaningful things are really basically okay. That's pretty good.
I'm thankful that my jobload has actually increased despite how slow it's been in the hotel industry lately. So I have to work all day today (10 A.M.-8 P.M.); at least I'll have my Xmas gift money set up early.
I'm also thankful for my mom forgoing turkey (and trukey sandwiches, turkey-filled tamales, and other turkey leftover- based items we have to eat for over a week straight after Thanksgiving-ecch!) and deciding to make this year's dinner lasanga, ham, shrimp cocktail, and mounds and mounds of Stove Top stuffing.

Happy Thanksgiving to all...now gotta sleep like an hour to head to work on Black Friday!!! Fun...safe shopping day, crowds are getting rowdier every year!
That is absolutely deplorable. I worked in a dept store in college and watched how people would get into fistfights over half-off merchandise the day after Xmas. Get a life, people.
