Since many will be leaving for the long weekend, let me wish everyone a happy, safe Thanksgiving. Over eat, watch football, conect with loved ones and friends and take a moment to be greatful for what we and our country have. And take a minute or two to reach out to someone over the long weekend.

Happy Thanksgiving to all here! We're having about 20 relatives over to our house for the big day. The menu will include turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, stuffing, green beans, corn, rolls, and pumpkin pie.

Go USC - I would love to see them play the Buckeyes!

I'm going to the girlfriend's parent's house this time. They are vegetarian so we'll be having eggplant parmesan, portabellos in white wine and lemon juice, and a Thai stirfry.

Oh yes, and homemade scotch.

Ken Kennedy debuted a new finisher: Jeff Hardy fans will insist on calling it the Swanton Bomb, but it looks WAY more devastating when not performed by a 180-pound fruitcake.

We're driving down to Birmingham to my in-laws' house for din-din. Hopefully we'll hit the Birmingham Zoo on Friday. It's fun to watch the tigers pace back and forth and drool over the kids on the other side of the glass.

Also, 3 pro football games on Thursday!

Happy Turkey Day! I plan to be in a tryptophan-induced coma Thursday afternoon, but I've doubts as to whether the four little rinbergs and their cousin will allow it.... We're doing a deer ham, turkey, stuffing, green bean casserole, squash casserole, devilled eggs, potato salad, couple of pies, and God-only-knows-what-else.

Yes, there will be a bunch of us. Yes, I will over-eat and regret it. No, I won't learn my lesson and I'll probably do it again at Christmas.

You guys take care and travel safely.

For those of you with SIRIUS Satellite Radio (or DISH Network w/ SIRIUS), my personal favorite Thankgiving tradition, Arlo Guthrie's "Alice’s Restaurant Massacree"...with four-part-harmony and feeling, etc...will be played for 24 hours non-stop!

Damn, that sounds good. And it'll give you a perfect excuse to rudely cuss the vegans for lack of Dead Bird!

We will be having the traditional turkey meal, and I think I heard my wife say she is preparing ham also. Pumpkin pie, apple pie and I am sure another dessert type item will be included.

Matt, you consider Lions vs Dolphins "pro" football?

Happy turkey day to all.

Hopefully we won't have a repeat of last year's Thanksgiving. I was assigned to cover the high school's football game, which just so happened to be in the middle of a snowstorm. They hadn't started plowing the highways, so I crawled down to Woodbridge... and find out it's been postponed. I already know that won't happen, because this time, the school I cover's hosting it. But as soon as that's done, hauling ass up to New Hampshire with the family. They'd better leave plenty of leftovers. (ahem)

Nothing like backing your wife's car into your brother-in-law's truck first thing on Thanksgiving morning ...

Happy day to all.

I have seen this ad, and remember reading a news item somewhere that noted that it was a pic of Stacy (likely from her pre-WWE modeling days) that was on the ad. What I like is that the ad shows "actual members" of the service.
