A happy July 1st to all Canadians! Any huge plans? Myself, I'll be living it large in the Nation's Capital with my girlfriend =)

Oh yes; And God Save the Queen.

On June 27th, 2002, the Montreal Expos (number one on the MLB contraction list) added MONEY to their payroll, aquiring Bartolo Colon. In a time like this, there's two quotes that come to the forefront;

cfgb: "I hate to say it, but Atlanta really needs to be watching their rear ends".
And Number Two;

DJ FrostyFreeze: "PLEASE BELIEVE IT!"

It's too bad the Candians are all on Smackdown, as tonight would be a fun night to do their schtick.

I asked Bobby Dylan, I asked the Beatles.
I asked Timothy Leary, but he couldn't help me either.

It should be a quiet day here in our office - the woman that handles all of our canadian business should finally be able to shut up.

Happy Canada Day Hosers ! :-)

Well not really,You know what Thursday is ?

4th of July AKA America's Independence Day.I think the schtick would be better on Thursday than tonight.

Whoa... didn't even think of that. Hey that's a heck of an idea... have them mock us on our holiday and proclaim that we should have celebrated on mond. LoL. The WWE(F) will probably drop the ball though. Instead they probably wont even mention canadians.

I've torn myself apart.... and tried to figure out why... but the only answer i was ever given... that really fits..... is the fact... that women are crazy.

A couple of good Canadian jokes, stolen from today's Toronto Star editorial:

Q: How do you get 20 Canadians out of a swimming pool?
A: You ask them to please get out of the pool.
----
On the sixth day God turned to Archangel Gabriel and said: "Today I am going to create a land called Canada, it will be a land of outstanding natural beauty. It shall have tall majestic mountains, beautiful sparkling lakes, high cliffs overlooking sandy beaches."

God continued, "I shall call the inhabitants of this land Canadians and they shall be known as the most friendly people on the Earth."

"But Lord," asked Gabriel, "don't you think you are being too generous to these Canadians?"

"Not really," replied God, "just wait and see the neighbours I am going to give them."
----
All in good fun...

At least in Toronto, we've got perfect weather:mid-30s, higher with humidity rating(I think in fahrenheit that's mid-90s or so). Thank heaven for friends with pools.

Well, I'm just lucky that I live in the GREATEST CITY IN THE WORLD, Calgary...because I have to work. But then again, holiday pay... Sweet, sweet holiday pay for eight wonderful hours...and it'll be dead! DEAD! Then, it's off with the Gang to go celebrate the indepedence of Canada by destroying a small part of it.

And leave the Queen out of this, ya hear?

Bart: Hey, immigrants! Beat it! Country's full!

Personally, I love having the Queen on our money. Compare Canadian money to American money and you'll see the point. All American money looks the same, all green with dead old people on it! We have the Queen and different colours and animals to tell them apart. God Save the Queen! She ain't no human being!

Different colors of money is a great idea, and I don't know why they don't do it down here. Wouldn't it make it harder on counterfiters, having to get all the different inks they would need? Oh well. I just hope they release an updated $1 bill soon, because it looks really stupid having one bill with a small picture in the middle, and all the rest with giant heads which are slightly off to the left. But then again, I'm just big on organization.

I always like this arguement...as if looking in any of the corners and seeing the different denominations is too difficult!

And, hey...ESPN's Peter Gammons is on the American $20!

There is a bookstore on Main Street in Lake Placid, NY that always gives out $2 as part of your change

I'd like to vehemently complain about Global, the Cdn channel that has started broadcasting 24 this season.
