Happy Independence Day to all.

Now if you'll excuse me, I gotta get ready to see Pat Benatar at Cooper River in Pennsauken, NJ for free. I LOVE THIS COUNTRY!

Anyone else seeing a concert/celebration today?

Joe Wilson (looking at Interocitor manual)- Hey, here's something my wife could use in the house...
Crow T. Robot- A man?
Joe Wilson- An interocitor incorporating an electron sorter.
Cal Meechum- Oh, she'd probably gain 20 pounds while it did all the work for her.
Tom Servo- Cal, you bitch!

We had a free Kansas concert up here in Iowa City/Coralville yesterday. I remember a couple years ago at Fair St. Louis I got to see Cheap Trick for free under the arch which was cool.

Anyways have a happy and safe 4th of July to everyone.

That's interesting because Cheap Trick was exactly the act playing Cooper River last year.

Today, Grant Park in Chicago, The lineup is:
Old 97's
They Might Be Giants
Counting Crows

I will be leaving soon to gorge myself at the feast known as Taste of Chicago, and then hear some good music.

Funny story, 2 years ago the 4th show here was Midnight Oil and Indigo Girls. All I could think was "someone was not paying attention when they booked them for the 4th!"

Maybe the wife of the player? In the context of baseball, felonies are crimes against society, not against baseball. In the context of baseball, gambling is the only crime against baseball.

Gambling, in the context of baseball, is a capital offense and Rose has richly earned-- hell, he agreed to-- his death sentence. Let him hang.

This is a pretty minor, but bizarre story. And, the lake is not exactly tiny; 100 feet deep and 5 acres in size. Link: http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070621/ap_on_sc/chile_missing_lake_6;_ylt=Am1Gt7Hdvr_IAAzu2mAAkL3lWMcF Weird stuff.
