In the PTC case that WWE won a while back, Vince's lawyers stipulated in the settlement contract that PTC is not allowed to comment on WWE product again.
Now that the ratings are stuck at a "low" level, Vince is allegedly in panic mode and looking for ways to get attention through the media.
And now that he's eliminated his biggest source of large-scale criticism (PTC), he can't turn the necrophilia angle into anything!!! I love the irony!
First, he kills off all his competition - to the point where he's now competing with himself and thereby not getting anywhere. Then, he gets rid of his biggest detractors, who were somewhat responsible for all the free media the WWE/WWF has gotten in recent years.
NOW, without his high-profile critics around, his attempts at creating controversy are fruitless. He must be kicking himself really hard... even though he's still wicked rich.
I'm sure they'll get SOME attention from that, but wouldn't Mike Tyson *still* be a better choice? And whatever happened to all that talk of Jesse Ventura coming back to commentate? He stated in an interview that after some time away from the world, he sees himself returning to wrestling.
LOL, it really is funny that the PTC won't bug them anymore, and now it looks like Vince needs them. Now we got boxers. Well, if Bob Costas invites Vinnie Mac to his show, I wonder what clip he'll use...
Hey All, Just checked out the flick last night. Very good movie. Although, not exactly like the original...but still impressive. The parts for Austin, Nash, and Goldberg...were small, but all were very effective. Anyone else see the movie?
