In the PTC case that WWE won a while back, Vince's lawyers stipulated in the settlement contract that PTC is not allowed to comment on WWE product again.

Now that the ratings are stuck at a "low" level, Vince is allegedly in panic mode and looking for ways to get attention through the media.

And now that he's eliminated his biggest source of large-scale criticism (PTC), he can't turn the necrophilia angle into anything!!! I love the irony!

First, he kills off all his competition - to the point where he's now competing with himself and thereby not getting anywhere. Then, he gets rid of his biggest detractors, who were somewhat responsible for all the free media the WWE/WWF has gotten in recent years.

NOW, without his high-profile critics around, his attempts at creating controversy are fruitless. He must be kicking himself really hard... even though he's still wicked rich.

He's only half as rich as he was two years ago though.

I want you to know, I agree with everything I've just said.

So, he only has several million dollars as opposed to several several million dollars? Yeah, I guess he must be devestated.

Well, the self-proclaimed genius needs to show if he really is, now that they hit a valley again (like back in 1995), only this time there's no competition he can copy from.

Sweet dreams......

Losing half a billion in two years is real minor, isn't it? And that was before the stock dropped another 4 or 5 points.

Chill, I was just thinking the exact same thing.

And a quick check of the AP wires today turned up NO mention of anything about the WWE. Good.

(A side note, if it's publicity they're after, maybe Vince shouldn't be such a shithead to reporters. They might talk to him more.)

Vince needs the media and the PTC more than they need him.

Maybe it's the fact that they're calling their publicity stunt a publicity stunt. Kind of like calling the next big thing...well "The Next Big Thing".

Don't be surprised if we see B-level celebrities hauled in next. Lawrence Taylor is available, I'm sure.

The Era of Desperation continues....

You mean Lennox Lewis?

I'm sure they'll get SOME attention from that, but wouldn't Mike Tyson *still* be a better choice? And whatever happened to all that talk of Jesse Ventura coming back to commentate? He stated in an interview that after some time away from the world, he sees himself returning to wrestling.

LOL, it really is funny that the PTC won't bug them anymore, and now it looks like Vince needs them. Now we got boxers. Well, if Bob Costas invites Vinnie Mac to his show, I wonder what clip he'll use...

Back in the year 2000 (put down the flashlights, kids), an indy show in Iron Mountain, MI advertised La Parka would be there. Several of my A2NWO boys and I made the road trip SPECIFICALLY to see La Parka. But just like DDP did those many years ago...
