"...others say my mom sucked 3,000 dicks." (Nag) So Thursday, on a whim, I buy a Squire Bullet Strat I found in a pawn shop. For $60. (That shoulda been sign #1.) Anyway, plug it into the amp I've got at home, and it buzzes its little heart out. I'm guessing that's not totally abnormal, as it's got three single-coils. Anyway, strum the five strings on it (the A string's missing), and... nothin'. I'm not sure what it'd be (pickups? pots? switch? jack?) but anyone know how easy it'd be to replace whatever's broken? Also, more importantly, how to find out what's the problem?

If you're not getting ANY sound from any of the pickups, then I would hope that its something after the pickups (jack, tone switch, or volume knob) that got disconnected. But for all you know, the previous owner could hae dunked it in a pool before selling it to the pawn shop.
Unfortunatly, I'm having some internet issues (about half the websites I try to visit time out), but here's at least one link that might help.

I picked up a Zoom 505 effects pedal on ebay, and I'm looking to get the accessory pedal to turn it into a wah. I can't tell from the manual if I need to buy Zoom FP01 or Zoom FP02. I know it says FP01 but that looks like a foot switch, and when you look at the later illustration for bank locking it seems to be just a switch. I found an FP02 available elsewhere and it looks more like what I would expect for a wah pedal.
Anyone have one of these and know for sure? The manual is located here: http://www.samsontech.com/products/productpage.cfm?prodID=1624&brandID=4 at the bottom of the page.

It looks like either the FP01 or FP02 would work. The foot switch looks to be the FS series. Not sure what the difference is between the FP01 and the FP02 - maybe the FP02 is the replacement model for the FP01.
