I've had this game about a week now and while there are no surprises the game is very, very enjoyable. I'm a bit jaded as this couples two of my favorite things: Guitar Hero and Aerosmith. For me, it's better than chocolate and peanut butter or Legos and Star Wars - I've been waiting for this game for a while.
The gameplay is that of GTIII - there's really nothing new there. The game follows the history of the band as the venues reflect those in which the band has played from early high school appearances to the Super Bowl. There are lots of video shorts dropped in where the band talks about the venues, the songs, etc., which is cool.
I'm disappointed that there is no downloadable songs, but I'm probably content with the 40+ Aerosmith tracks that the game has. There are opening tracks too that are very fun to play like 'Always on the Run' by Lenny Kravitz and 'Hard to Handle' by the Black Crowes.
It's still early enough to where I haven't unlocked different characters or gutiars and haven't gone shopping with my gig money. I also thought that Easy mode was a little too easy, so I got crazy and amped it up to Medium. How humbling Medium is.
This game is as-advertised. And for that, it is awesome. It has my recommendation on the Wii system.
Also found it enjoyable, but some things were severely lacking. The real classics like Cryin' or Crazy, or arguably their best ballad ever, I Don't Want To Miss A Thing. They completely gloss over Nine Lives, other than a stage modeled after the album cover and Pink which is available for purchase. When I found out Lenny Kravitz was going to be in this game, I was also disappointed to find out that the song wasn't, in fact, Are You Gonna Go My Way.
The rest is a worthy add-on to the franchise. Couldn't help but mark out at performing Walk This Way with DMC, and Joe Perry's guitar battle is a good challenge.

Because then it would make its appearance in the upcoming Guitar Hero World Tour less awesome. Don't worry. Just wait a couple months :)

I read that they use the music that WWE owns, such as Bret Hart and LOD has their LOD 2000 music. But Jimmy Hart owns some of the legend themes, I think Snuka and Piper and Beefcake were mentioned, so those will be remakes.
