SOUTH PARK wins a Peabody Award! (news.yahoo.com)

Other winners were BATTLESTAR GALACTICA, THE SHEILD, BOSTON LEGAL, and HOUSE.

I wonder what Tom Cruise has to say about this?

Nice to see Battlestar Galactica continuing to get recognition. That show has been the best thing on television during the past two years.

As for South Park winning, it was cool when they announced it during the show yesterday. Hopefully this'll give Trey and Matt a more solid footing from which to criticize Scientology (and whomever else they wish).

I heartell the Peabody people are on notice. For, you know, screwing Colbert yet again. That award is facing THE WALL now, heh.

So glad this season is here. They seemed to pick up with the intensity that last season had built to. Plus, I've always loved Jimmy Smitts in everything he's done (yes, even the show about the Cuban sugar farmers).
