Goldberg injured his wrist last night after RAW went off the air. During the Steve Austin “Beer Bash” Eric Bischoff came down to the ring and Austin ordered Bill to hit him with the Jackhammer. Since the ring was filled with suds Goldberg slipped on the move and slammed his hand into the mat, jamming it. Agents were shaking their heads over that one.

--Some of you thought it would Nash or HHH didn't you? Oh well Goldberg hurt agian, what a shock.

Did this really deserve a thread?...Who cares?

Maybe my memory is bad, but I don't recall Goldberg being "famous" for being injured. I recall the wrist through the window incident, if that's what you're referring to.

He slipped because the ring was soaked with beer. No big deal.

There was also the 'injury' prior to Starrcade '97 when he was part of Debra's stable about to face Mongo in the Battle For the SuperBowl Ring, which in all likelihood he would have been booked to job. After his return was when the winning streak concept began. Then, there were a few other 'nagging injuries' that would occur when he would want to take a few weeks/months away from WCW. I'm actually surprised it took him this long though to injure himself. Does this mean Christian might be booked to go over in the cage match in Philly?

I hate Swamprats. Payback for the Celts against the team led by a wifebeater/child abuser (he did break his kids collarbone in public). And 12 wins until Banner #17.

I think I read, during the time he broke his hand after bashing in the Limo window in WCW, he did a racing for charity thing. But when the race started his car messed up (picture RAW when he was trying to start his car to chase Rock in his limo) and it just would not start and he really hard bashed his hand on the dash board braking it even more, when it was close to healing.

Unless I'm forgetting things, Goldberg didn't break his hand smashing the limo window; he cut himself deeply when some genius forgot to switch the real glass in the window for candy glass.

I'm with Furry Hippie on this one... it doesn't deserve a thread. This guy starts so many fucking threads anyway that I rarely even click on them anymore because they're mostly links.
Back to Goldberg... um yeah, who cares again?

From what I remember in the Mongo match, that was the original plan all along -- for Goldberg to be laid out in the back. It had something to do with Goldberg (or someone) beating up McMichael in the back a few weeks beforehand. But I don't think it was because he refused to job or anything. He was way too new back then to start making demands.

Is it wrong that I first assumed he was talking about Randy Orton?

(Even if he's injured now anyway.)

I seem to remember Goldberg knowing about them being unable to get the break-away stuff, but CARELESSLY going ahead and putting his hand through the glass.

That's what he's famous for... not injuries, just carelessness.

And I don't know about you, but I'd mark my ass out if Jericho pulled that footage up on the Highlight Reel, with the appropriate sound effects.

That would be great. Jericho's HiLite Reel is such an opportunity for such nifty tricks. If this helps expose his awesome side, so be it.

Goldberg is the product of the Power Plant, how can there not be something wrong?

Yeah, that's about right. I think he was looking for a crowbar or baseball bat to break open the window but for some reason (couldn't find it??) he used his forearm instead and sliced himself up pretty badly.

I seem to recall that only one of the windows on the limo was rigged for him to hit/punch through. He hit it and broke it easily. Then he went to the next window and had to hit it repeatedly to break because it was real glass. After that window was broken, there was immediately blood all over his hand due to the severe cuts. After breaking the window, he slammed his hand on the hood of the limo and splattered blood on it. After that when replays were shown, they would be black and white due to the blood.

Goldberg had a small pipe in his hand but dropped it and like a big meathead decided to break the glass without it.

And the gearbox punching thing was more recently, like last year or so.

Trish and Molly have really good chemistry together. I remember when Molly first debuted she wrestled Trish back when Trish wasn't a full time wrestler. They had one hell of a match. Trish is one of the best women workers in the WWE.
