GTV WAS DONE BY DDP! HE WANTED TO BE FAMOUS
It was Goldust, of course.
As many may remember, when it was first used, it had the name "GDTV". That was pulled because GD is an abbreviation of "Goddamn", which was taboo on TV at the time. I'm not sure if it is, still...
The GD would have to be Goldust, expecially when you take into account that it would fit his character.
Unless, of course, there was a scrapped character named "Goddamn". Hey, that sounds kind of catchy. You could chant it!

They probably figured "GTV" would be more general and easier to come up with who was behind it (until they decided to leave it unsolved).

| #4 Posted on 30.6.02 0758.21 | Actually they got rid of the D before Goldust left because someone in the (then) WWF realized that it would be easy for the fans to figure it was Goldust if they kept the D in. Hence GTV.
I wish they would use that more. At least it would explain some of the instances where they had cameras hidden in the strangest places.
