Click Here (sports.espn.go.com) To think that he could/should be closing in on 650 HRS. There are so many shouldas and couldas with this guy. He could have shattered all kinds of offensive records. He's really got a problem now. He's getting the same kind of injuries over and over. Can he handle going to the AL to be nothing more than a DH? Will anyone pay that kind of money for a DH? Could he be doing better? Perhaps. Would he have shattered records had he stayed healthy? Maybe. But considering 7,379 AB in just shy of 2,000 games played... I think Griffey, Jr. has done well for himself.
Of course the negative media will only focus on "what could have been" instead of "what he has done," but that is another story for another time.
