Well, as of 12:30pm MST on Monday, he hasn't been fired as head coach of YOUR Calgary Flames.

I give him the end of the week...

Freeway420? Your thoughts? :)

It's 8:30 Tuesday, and he's been fired today.

Al MacNeil (the old coach from the Atlanta Flames, now Flames VP of Player Operations) is the interm head coach. Assistant Brad McCrimmon also got the sack, but he's been offered a position within the organization.

Hopefully the Flames can pull outta the tailspin.

Now the question is, how is this going to affect the cap? Will we also be able to resign Hossa or are we going to unfortunately see him walk? The big dilemma had always seemed to be, Hossa or Franzen because you're not getting both.
