Man, this show. Man.
I just started getting into this show, and maaaaaaaaaan. This episode is a stomach punch.
tl;dr - On the way to the peace treaty between Red Lanterns and Green Lanterns, the team stops off at planet where Razer finally makes peace with losing his wife. Aya goes to meet him, and they share a moment (including him giving her a flower, a sign of living things being back on the planet). During the episode the anti-monitor shows up in Frontier Space. Razer gets separated from the team, and Aya goes to save him. They share another moment....
And she shoves him out of the way of a blast, and gets hit. They share another moment, and she falls apart in his arms, dead. He's holding onto her helmet, and while the team saves him, he loses the helmet.
An incredible stomach punching episode. I was legit invested in all of these characters, and for her to die was a blow.
Next episode's title? Cold Fury. Can you take a guess what'll happen?

Aya and Razer are the heart of this show, and I refuse to believe that they've killed her off for real. I don't know what the plan is, but I am fully invested for the rest of the season to see where it goes. | Spiraling_Shape

They've done such a great job weaving in so many pieces of the GL mythology, while making Aya and Razer just great characters too. Krona showed up this week! We got Warth a few weeks ago!

Yet, the scene of Aya just disappearing from Razer has to be one of the most heartbreaking moment of the entire series and of the entire DCU cartoon run. I am curious to see if Razer is going to go straight suicide mission to murder the Anti-monitor.
I am wondering if they go to recruit the other DCU heroes, they dropped a Superman hint earlier this season.

Agreed with all of this. They made the show (although I was really into Saint Walker too). I too am in for the rest of the season, full stop.

Plus the very human scream when she got it by the beam. Just such a such moment moment.

Ranks up there for sure.

I dunno about other heroes, but Saint Walker is still around. And they did go through the hassle of having a whole episode featuring THE MAN (~GUY GARDNER). I'm pretty sure we'll see both again.
