No, this thread has nothing to do with THAT but everything to do with great posters. Who is your favorite poster in all of Wienerville? It seems some posters have a mini fan club (like Dr. Unlikely) and others are universally adored. But who sparks your interest?

For me, it's

1. Kawshen - no matter what he posts, it is hilarious. From his homemade Booker T images to threads about ludircrous products on WWE shopzone, I read everything by this guy.
2. DJ FrostyFreeze - always has something funny to say, even when he is making a very serious (and good) point.
3. Asteroidboy - we disagree on some issues but on the whole, he makes some fine points. You can always tell he puts thought into his posts.

Somebody else?

I have to admit, I enjoy most of the posters who appear in the politics folder. Of course there is plenty of personal attacks and baseless posturing, but most of the times they have facts to back up their opinion. They also agree to disagree more than posters in the wrestling section, and considering the importance of politics vs. a scripted pseudo-sport, that's saying something.

Other than that, many posters in the wrestling section bring the funny on a regular basis. This includes inVerse, Asteroid Boy, redsoxnation, and others.

Honorable mention goes to Dr. Unlikely's 24 thoughts, which are always WAY in-depth and hilarious.

The call is from heroism, will you accept the charges?

Thanks for the kind words, PU, the government mule ethos piece was truly a thing of beauty.

Some of my faves:

Kawshen made me a Booker T fan.

Dr. Unlikely is the only poster who I seek out and read. I wish I was that funny.

Ubermonkeys for the SWANK profile photos.

Spf2119 and Super Shane Spear for the wisdom.

Oldschoolhero, even though we agree on nothing. Especially during that D'Von racism thread.

But my favorite has to be DEAN. The guy used to live in my hometown and his reports are just as entertaining as the show.

*sniff* I feel the same way...

But, it's true. If I didn't love arguing with Pool-Boy - and Grimis and Bizzle Izzle and PalpatineW and DMC and another other conservatives down there I may have missed, I'd have quit a long time ago.

They're my favorites and my least favorites all at the same time.

Aw shucks, OFB ya big ole softy
My favorite is Grimis. He's up earlier than I am so I look forward to seeing a couple posts with his name in the politics forum. Usually I am nodding my head and saying "You damn right!" when I read him.

Maybe it's cause I hate myself and like to piss myself off, but I am drawn to posts by OlFuzzyBastardd and Moegates, particularly in the politics forum. If I see their name I say to myself 'what did this [guy] say now?' and I have to check it out. But I like to see what people like Poolboy, PalpatineW, DMC, and cranlsn and all the other wieners who are RIGHT (wing) have to say.

There are a lot of people who make me laugh in the forums, but I don't take note of their names. I usually only remember a name if someone is really dumb or really liberal. But I guess I am being redundant :P

Uh thank ya, thank ya very much.

Yes most of the politics forum regulars, on both sides of the aisle, that means the Bizzle Izzles, Pool-Boys, PalpatineWs and DMCs of the world alongside the OFBs, MoeGates', and Jaguars. Especially the liberals; it's fun to shoot holes in their world view!

I dig Teppan-Yaki's in-depth knowledge of the television business.

Dean's drunken Virginian rants are always good for some quality comedy.

Odessa, Pieman, tarnish and cfgb are also top-notch in my book.

YES! I'm getting mentions!

Must have been all those tooth-and-nail debates with Guru.

Grimis and Pool Boy have been moving up on my list. Moe has always been a powerful adversary and an intelligent poster. Ya gotta love NetHackSlasher in the Wrestling forum, whose writing skills seem to be improving. PartsUnknown is also a very solid poster. I'm always happy to see Palpatine throw in his support in the Politics forum. There are many others I just can't remember at the moment.

How can we go through a list like this and not remember the most important contributors of them all, the: 'I don't like it here anymore but I'm going to write a thread and then take my ball and go home so ban me because even though I hate it here I don't have self control not to come here bunch.' Such intelligent debate started by that group.

You guys should really all get a room. Could you fellate each other any more?

Your analogy is similar to:

"They already have cars that you can drive, why not blenders?"
"I can already write with my hands, why not my pancreas?"
"They already have beef that I can eat, why not granite?"

-- my new favorite quote from Slashdot comments.

I DEAN. I Bullitt, only because he 's me.

So I had seen Club Dread in the theaters (one of the few who did apparently), and thought that as a horror movie it wasn't great but as a comedy it was very funny. That being said, I was only mildly intrigued to see it on DVD.
