If anyone gets the chance, you should see “A Beautiful Mind” starring Russell Crowe, Ed Harris and Christopher Plummer. I just saw it last night, and it is an amazing movie with an incredible soundtrack. A great ride all around, as you wonder whether or not the main character is actually losing his mind. What's better for dramatic tension than having to question what is and isn't real?

Anyone else seen it?

I don't remember if I ranted about it here or someplace else.

But I thought it was vastly overrated. Crowe does the usual "mentally disturbed" overacting (TM Dustin Hoffman) and the "gimmick" was stupid and annoying as all hell.

Jennifer Connelly was good though.

Certainly not in my Top Ten for 2001.

Considering he was a Freebird, worked in World Class during the heyday of the Von Erichs (thus a prime candidate for the curse to hit him), and the recent rash of Buddy deaths, Buddy Roberts must really be concerned.
