A few things: 1) If a disco night is going to occur, there has to be a corresponding Disco Demolition night. Just wait until after the games are played, not during the middle of a double-header. 2) This is the most important one: Where the hell is 10 cent beer night? The place would be packed that night.
The only military skill provided by the French is demonstrating the methods of surrendering.
I will definitely be getting tickets to these games if you want anything from these nights... Let me know what games you are interested in.

Well, with Wednesday night being preview night, Thursday generally is the day to network at 'Con, isn't it? Fri - Sun are whoring to the masses, but Thursday you can actually have a conversation with people (if you try)

Actually, what would be perfect is a Saturday afternoon game, allowing a person to ESCAPE the con, when there are so many people you can't breathe in the hall.
It all really depends on whether we get a table/booth/space at the show. IT may also depend on, when time gets closer, who is pitching when. The series vs. the D-Backs is the first one after the All-Star Break, so the first game of the series may feature Schill or Unit (who are classic).

Speaking of Disco Demolition, I wasn't there (was still living in Layayette at that time), but I spent a lot of years listening to Steve Dahl, who was the jock that pulled that one off. (He's the guy you see in the Hawaiian Shirt and helmet on the tapes).
What a lot of people don't know is that not only was Comiskey Park filled to capacity (since you could get in for next to nothing with a disco record), but there were another 10 to 15 thousand outside trying to get in.
The problem is that CDs just aren't as much fun as 12 inch records to blow up (or frisbee).
