OLEY, Pa -- Police in Berks County said four boys fastened a victim to a wall by driving nails through the clothing he was wearing.
Oley Township police Chief David White said it began with an argument over a Philadelphia Eagles-Green Bay Packers game on Jan. 13.
The Pottstown Mercury reported that the boys are students at the Berks Career and Technology Center’s east campus on Friedensburg Road in the township.
The victim reportedly was not supportive of the Eagles during the argument.
White said four boys wrestled the victim into the basement of a home under construction, then nailed his shirt and pants to exposed studs, police said.
The victim wasn't injured, and another teenager helped release him from the wall.
White said the four were charged with the summary offenses of harassment and criminal mischief.
In addition to a fine and court costs, police said they were ordered to pay restitution for the victim's damaged clothing.
Police didn't release any of the names of the people involved.
Except there's NO jail in the new stadium -- that was the Vet. It never ceases to amaze me how people project the actions of others (in this case, a bunch of idiot kids) to a whole group of fans, or who take every incident they hear concerning Philly fans as gospel, without taking time to look into the story and get actual facts (the only incident in which guilt was plain as day was the Michael Irvin incident, and even with that, he's not someone that I'm going to cry over).

Living in Eastern PA for 5 years taught me something, Eagles fans, and most Philly sports fans are just plain assholes. I went to a USFL game the year I moved there from New Orleans. I went to see the New Orleans Breakers play, since I had never had a chance to see them play in New Orleans. I wasnt standing and cheering or making any waves, just wanted to watch a game, and see Marcus Dupree play.
What I got (and I was 13 at the time) was about 5 beers thrown on me and my mom, threatened with being thrown over the railing (we were in the upper deck) Old, HARD "soft" pretzels thrown at us, and about 3 hours of various verbal abuse. So, from that, I sumise all philadelphia fans are assholes.
Heh... any news on Peete's performance? I know he went 10-19 for 100-something yards, but is there anyone who saw the game who can share a little more?
