|  #1 Posted on 27.5.02 0047.01 | Instant Rating: 10.00 | I have just reached the remarkable (for reasons both good and bad) mark of 210 captured Pokemon with Pokemon Red, Silver, a link, and some blatant memory cheating.
(#210 was FINNALLY getting to level 55 with Pupitar to turn it into Lavartar - that and doing the same with Dragonair->Dragonite family is the most boring thing ever.)
I'd like to mark this special occasion by listing all the Pokemon I still have yet to get:
Charmander, Charmeleon, Charizard, Squirtle, Wartortle, Blastoise, Omanyte, Omastar, Articuno, Mankey, Primeape, Growlithe, Arcanine, Mew, Cyndaquil, Quilava, Typhlosion, Totodile, Croconaw, Feraligatr, Spinarak, Ariados, Gligar, Teddiursa, Ursaring, Mantine, Celebi, Politoed, Slowking, Steelix, Scizor, Kingdra, Porygon2, Blissey, Kangaskhan, Heracross, Smeargle, Raikou, Entei, Suicune, Ho-oh.
Notes:
- Probably at some point I'll get over it and restart Red, so I can trade for the other two starters there - and maybe picked up the one of kind ones I missed the first time for whatever reason.
- I'm a moron for not breeding Chancey before trading it, I know, I've been muttering it to myself for a couple days now.
- I've actually run into Raikou (one of them fast rare Pokemon) by total accident, so I can track it but I'm sure not gonna be able to catch it.
- Kangaskhan (irony), Heracross and Smeragle are supposedly not hard to find but they sure are for me
- I know I have to get a Master Ball (somehow) to get Ho-Oh, because I've tried every single other way.
5 more and Oak will have a new message for me! Maybe. I think I'm probably about done until I give in and get Pokemon Crystal.

| #5 Posted on 27.5.02 1816.14 | Instant Rating: 10.00 | When I was playing Red, I was pretty much trying to see how fast I could get through it, so if something wasn't easy to find, I skipped. (Looking at the levels of my top guys in there, I wonder how I even did that much - maybe you didn't need to be as high to get by.)
But I did happen to already have a Mankey captured and fooled around till get a Growlithe - too bad I wasted all my Fire stones already. I also finnaly got Smearagle and upgraded the Mankey to Primeape, so that makes 214. | Tragic1

Problem is that a Sharked version of Mew or Celebi isn't nearly as good as one gained from a convention.
