OK, I've never seen this before. I have no idea if it has made the rounds yet or not.

Brilliant!

I hadn't heard that in a long time and the video was awesome. I'm still on the fence whether Shatner took himself THAT seriously, or if he was just seriously high.

I see your William Shatner, and raise you Leonard Nimoy.

Shatner actually released an album featuring a bunch of covers (including Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds). It's so awful it's brilliant, although I get the impression he took this stuff pretty seriously back then...

William Shatner, Transformed Man (Amazon)

And here's Nimoy's album as well:

I should point out that this is a fan video mocking Shatner (kind of) and not just video of Shatner singing.

I take it you missed all the love the board gave towards Shatners album last year, HAS BEEN, which was above and beyond what you could call 'good'. It featured an incredible cover of Pulp's COMMON PEOPLE which is not to be missed.

...well, OK, 'I' showered Shatner with the love, not necessarily the whole board, but I'm sure there were more then a few people here who liked it.
