I really cannot say I am surprised. Although, in the past he made the players alot of money. This recent CBA kerfuffle didn't do him any good.

I was under the impression from what Saskin said on the Fan 590 that he wasn't just going to be the interim head, and would be in charge until his contract's up.

I'm not sure if it's a step up on likability or not, but I agree that it was time for Goodenow to at least step away from Hockey.

Agreed. I think once everything with the league settles down a little, Bettman should go. Yes, he got what the owners wanted, but it's time for some new leadership.
