I would, but I haven't the faintest idea what his screen name is. I tried CRZ, but no one ever answers there.

Oops. Sorry, I'm new to Weinerville, and never thought about checking his profile. Silly me!
Once I am home again (only 9 more hours), I'll give him a jingle and see if anything comes back...

| #147 Posted on 18.7.02 1055.32 | I also shot him an AIM message. Unsurprisingly, he did not respond. One way or another, he's fed up with the state of wrestling today and I can't say as I blame him.
When you are as close to the industry as he has always been, it's not hard to become almost emotionally attatched to the participants and the shows themselves.
We all have our breaking points, I guess. I hit mine back when they turned what once was WCW into a walking joke and I haven't looked back since.
CRZ doesn't owe us anything really. In fact, I'd say we owe him for being there for Internet Wrestling fans for so many years. Whatever he decides to do is what he decides to do and life goes on.
So Chris, if you don't ever write another thing related to sports entertainment, I will miss your wit and style greatly. I wish you all the best out there in the world.

MIchaelangelo states wonderfully exactly the way I feel about the situation. Thanks for putting it down in words so well.
And CRZ...thanks for 3 great years. I wish you well in all you do.

"Hi kids. If you are reading this on the /wrestling site that’s a good thing… otherwise I just don’t know what’s up. Don’t ask me… I can’t tell you anything. I’d do a stupid comment thing here, but frankly, I’m just not in the mood."
I hope CRZ fills us in soon...

That's too morbid and sad to consider. No offence intended, but what's on that site is a horrible thought.

| #153 Posted on 18.7.02 2117.12 | No offense guys, but I am glad to see it go. For a while now the site was in a steady decline, I mean, it reads like a 3 grade yearbook blurb. What gives? I guess his heart wasn't into it. Personally, with the sad state wrestling is in, I dont blame him. I wish Vince would just give it up and devote all his attention to XFL 2. That was a good idea that just didn't catch on quick enough. Maybe CRZ can make a website about the XFL 2, maybe Vince will read it and then make an XFL 2 and then we ALL would be happy. Maybe Austin will come back and play football for vince? You never know. Just my 2 cents.

| #158 Posted on 19.7.02 1223.26 | I think this blackout is like one of those old WCW blackouts, circa 1997 or so. Y'know, when Sting was slowly returning to action. The nWo would hit the ring, rant for what seemed like forever, then everything would go black. The lights would come back on, shortly, and Bagwell or the Macho Man would be laid out. "Fans, what just happened?!!"
Or maybe Terry Gordy, Buddy Hayes and Black Bart, in coordination with Devastation, Inc and Iceman King Parsons have arranged this blackout.
Either that, or we'll hear a big "BONG"..then the lights come back and we'll see Midnite standing in the ring.

| #160 Posted on 19.7.02 1817.14 | I've been silent long enough about the issue of CRZ "leaving", I think.
[on soapbox]
One thing that my life has taught me, quite quickly, is to never assume anything. Don't assume that he's gone, don't assume that he's never come back, don't assume anything. While it is "more fun" to assume, in the end someone ends up taking it the wrong way.
When CRZ is ready to tell us what is going on, he will tell us. Let him deal with whatever he needs to deal with right now and just enjoy what we have in the meantime.
Don't take any of this as a flame, I do miss his recaps, as well as the work of other people on the site, but try and withhold speculation until we hear something from the man himself.
