At least Wrestleline gave us a warning when they were shuttinng down. Maybe CRZ is rebuilding his site? Back in Black?

Greed is good.

At the very least he could have told us that he was shutting down instead of leaving cryptic messages that I don't know the meaning of.

Maybe it's not even Bischoff. Maybe it's something else. Would it kill CRZ to post an explanation for his actions?

I just want my recaps.

That's CRZ for you. I mean, look at this. In twelve hours he has gotten 40 posts reacting, with people actually tracking his movements on the internet, and everyone sure they know exactly what he's thinking.

Mean Gene: "You know, I don't think it's a question - Goldberg, I don't think it's a question of who's next, I think it's a question of who's left?"
Goldberg: "No, see, that's where you're wrong. It ain't who's left, it's - WHO'S NEXT?"

Oh, he LEFT. I see. When did he tell you (or anyone for that matter) that he's leaving?

Now I suppose you'll accuse me of not letting you have any fun or whatever, when you're clearly making assumptions about something you know NOTHING about. You're talking in SPECIFICS above, as if everything has been finalized. No one but CRZ really knows what's going on. For you to totally knee-jerk and say Slash is closed down and CRZ will never recap again and he's quit writing about wrestling is totally off-base and wrong headed.

Here's a novel idea. Why don't you just exhibit some patience and WAIT AND SEE what happens for once instead of jumping to conclusions, guessing and speculating about what happens next and then taking said unfounded speculation and acting like it's a FOREGONE CONCLUSION and a certainty.

I have been quietly reading all the posts this morning and not responding.

But, Thomas, he doesn't owe us anything. I always print out his recaps and read them over my Tuesday lunch. Not so today. But, you know what, it's his prerogative. He's been doing this for free for all us.

Now, if this shutdown occurred because of the activities on Raw last night, I think we could have seen that coming. I am sure he's mentioned it at least once before that Bischoff and McMahon together may spell the end. But to think he owes us something? Nope.

Now, that being said, I hope the recaps start back up again because I do enjoy the goodness that they bring!

You say would it kill CRZ to post an explanation for his actions.... Personally, I dont think he owes us anything. He has entertained all of us for a long time, and if last nights events on RAW caused him to shut down slashwrestling, well then thats his choice. Its not like we are paying to view his site. And is he wants to make a statement by having the black screen and the "cryptic" message of Good Night, we that is his choice too, and I think we all should just deal with it. Honestly, I got up and didnt watch the rest of RAW after the Bischoff promo, and I am not sure if I will watch RAW ever again myself, lets see if they can get me to want to turn off SmackDown now too.

Bischoff is ONLY an on-air talent. He is not booking or running anything.

No, but I'll wager that the show will be booked as if he was, and that his smirking mug will be on camera several times each Monday. If not, why bring him in at all?

Changing the focal point of the show from "What sinister plot does the nWo have up their sleeves this week?" to "What sinister plot does GM Bischoff have up his sleeve this week?" is a lateral move at best, and has the undesirable side effect of blatantly dredging up the corpse of WCW one more time. His presence is anything but a good omen.

But I digress, so I'll take my rant to Wrestling instead of Site Feedback.

So are you saying he's wrong? Everything he said makes perfect sense to me.

This man speaks the truth. I hereby take back everything I said about Bischoff killing slashwrestling. As for the patience part, I don't know about that. If anybody here is like me, they probably have little patience. And if they're EXACTLY like me, they'll be checking back to Slash every 10 minutes to see if CRZ updated. Still you're right. Patience and preserverance will see us all through.

Whoa. Everybody needs to take a step back and calm down I think. We are all just expressing our own opinions about the situation, and I dont think anyone is meaning to attack anyone elses opinion, I just think we are building more of our own opinions by reacting to what others have posted. Lets not attack each other ok?

My everyone seems to be quite volitile today. Almost didn't want to post. I posted the "RAW thoughts" for the very reason stated within, that Bicshoff was back and it caught me off guard. I wake up at Noon EST and there's a black screen up on /slash. We can all form assumptions based on crptic messages and Zed's past history of disliking WCW....but I'm chosing to not comment on it until we've heard from Zed himself.

The only thing I'm going to comment on is that there's no need to start tossing around course language like it's going out of style, and no need to get into arguements over this. So if you got nothing nice to say to someone (at least in this thread) try to keep it to yourself.

EDIT: Mad typos.
