If the report currently being carried by Reuters is true, I would not be ecstatic about living in an urban area. The Deputy Director of Health in Hong Kong told a radio station that cockroaches may be carrying and spreading the deadly SARS virus. If this turns out to be true, a nice trip to the country might be a good idea for wieners in urban areas.

I agree and racism/bigotry rear their ugly head more when the economy is in the tank. However, I am old enough to have seen "No Coloreds Allowed" signs and have a cross burn on the lawn of a black college professor when he moved to town.
