I was actually enjoying RAW until that pointless shit, too.

When they came back from commercial and the EMTs were loading Goldy onto the stretcher all I heard was somebody yell 'Stone Cold!'
What's going on? Every two weeks they're going to have unfortunate "accidents" of increasing severity? First Stacey gets hit with a chair, now Goldust gets electrocuted. In two weeks watch for Tommy Dreamer to "accidentally" get beheaded when HHH beats him with his crutches and Tommy falls under one of those STEEL loading bay doors.

Considering the fact that my friends who watch wrestling and I consider Hawk killing himself the funniest thing ever on WWF (it was so OVERDRAMATIC, and we had the falling guy behind the titantron, suicide isn't funny, but the WWF's corny Hawk angle with Droz PUSHING him off was), but I can honestly say, if Tommy Dreamer got "decapitated" I would probably never stop laughing.

Geez it's about time somebody said that. Was I the only one who actually LIKED that segment? As soon as I saw them kick Goldie's ass I knew it meant Booker's push was coming....but just cause Stacy got hit with a chair, it's no good? This is WRESTLING, you really care if they use injury angles two weeks in a row?
I think what we really should make note about is the stupid planning of HHH's stable. He tells Orton and Batista "You know what to do". Apparently the plan to keep Steiner out of the main event at NWO was to attack Goldust, then not even show in the Jericho/Steiner match. Haha.

I assumed that after messing Goldust up, Orton and Batista had the good sense to lay low. Common sense says if you commit a crime, you don't go running to the ring.

| #10 Posted on 4.2.03 1015.39 | My only problem with this was: Chairshot that misses by a mile causes show to stop for 2 segments. Electrocution causes normal commercial break and an 'Oh yeah, he got carried off on a stretcher shot.' Actually, since I was expecting Booker to go to Goldust's hotel room to see if he was ok and see the 'Goldust attempts suicide for disappointing Booker' idea, electrocution wasn't bad. And at least they had it appeared that section was darker during the main event, so continuity was actually shown on RAW. Miracles never cease.

| #12 Posted on 4.2.03 1621.56 | Bold Prediction: We get Booker Vs. HHH at WrestleMania, with the Evolution/Party Posse/Drunken Frat Boyz mooching around ringside and assing things up for T. ref bump, big ol' beat-down, and MASSIVE pop for Goldust making the surprise save. Black Gold clean house, Book-End on H, new champeen, Goldy and Booker have an emotional reunion in the ring.

I like the idea of Booker avenging his 'lil buddy too, but my immediate reaction was different.
I thought that somehow this beatdown/electrocution was going to be the jumping off point for a story arc to make Goldust interesting without Booker to play off of. I just couldn't figure out what...

Since he is a Rhodes, there is always the possibility of the Midnight Rider coming in to avenge a member of the Rhodes family. Only way this would be good is if they used the old Nelson Royal Bunkhouse Stampede set-up and panned to him talking to the Midnight Rider. Remember Nelson Royal by the camp fire equals ratings.
