Insert Sons of Anarchy, Walking Dead and Game of Thrones rant here. AFI named Dark Knight Rising to their list, there was some momentum that it might get a nod. No love for Bond and Avengers either. Django must be amazing.

As per usual the combined supporting actor category is terrible, it probably screwed Dinklage out of a nomination. Walking Dead is one of the few shows I watch every week but I can't say it's deserving of any awards.

It's pretty crazy that Connie Britton has already gotten as many Emmy/Golden Globe nominations on crappy shows after Friday Night Lights than she did while she was on Friday Night Lights.

Ever watch the "crappy" American Horror Story or Nashville? I like them both, and she is arguably as good on those shows as she was on FNL, a show which I loved. IMO, she just keeps going from one good show after another, even going back to Spin City.

Yes, I've watched them both. Otherwise I would not have given an opinion on them.

I was a disappointed Mayim Bialick (sp?) did not get a nod for supporting actress in "The Big Bang Theory". I for one think she is easily the funniest character on that show. Whenever she is on, I find myself laughing.

The other night her line about loneliness was "I passed out at a frat party in college and woke up with more clothing on" was hysterical. I killed myself laughing at the line and the delivery.

Disappointed and Golden Globe nominations go hand in had I guess.

Life is hilariously cruel.

She has basically carried that show once she got on it. The actress playing Bernadette is also hysterical. The episode where the two of them went at was probably their best episode this season if not the entire run. There is a spin-off show waiting to happen with one of them being the star along with the rest of the sub cast like comic book dude and the guy that can't say words with Ws in them. At least the Golden Globes didn't cum all over Modern Family like the Emmys do.

How can Les Miserables be nominated when it's not even out yet? It make about as much sense to me as when the VGA's give game of the year awards to a game that came out a month ago.

Dont say its not worth it, when you can sleep with no fear, that kind of time is worth any thing.- FFX

Because the voters get to see movies before we do.

It doesn't have a wide release yet, but it has been screened. Via Wikipedia:

On 23 November 2012, the film was screened for the first time at the Lincoln Center in New York City, which received a standing ovation from the crowd.[75][76] This was followed by a screening the next day in Los Angeles, which also received positive reviews.[77]
The film premiered on the 5 December at the Empire, Leicester Square in London.[1] Red carpet footage was screened live online in an event hosted by Michael Ball, the original Marius of the West End.

I love the nods for Good Girl, especially for Max Greenfield who is so great as Schmidt. I don't know about Zooey having to go against Amy Poehler and Tina Fey, but I'm ever hopeful that she wins.

I'm just so completely ecstatic over Nicole Kidman potentially winning a Golden Globe for giving Zac Effron a golden shower. I really loved that movie a lot.

Forget it Josh... it's Cerebustown.

I saw this! It was pretty okay. I am not sure, but I believe there's a three-disc set available everywhere, and six individual discs available at Best Buy. (And presumably not at the Best Buy here in town, since I am in the Canada.)
