Ok, first our lord and savior, the prodigy, the answer to all of the world's problems, Marty Turco got injured (and I sure that the Stars are hiding something from us.) Our most consistance scorer, Billy Guerin, is out until the playoffs. We trade for two pretty good players, Barnes and Odelin. And today Odelein hurts his freaking foot and is out for 14 days! What have we done to deserve this?
At least I can rest with the comfort that Edmonton will lay down for us if we meet in the playoffs.

Its the Karma police coming in returning that favor on you. You know, the one where you signed Brett Hull and made him a cup winner (inthecreasegoalnotwithstanding). Its a simple payback from the otherworldly powers that be!
It must've really hurt when the Canucks spanked the Stars last night, eh? Actually, apart from Bertuzzi (the true otherworldly power) there wasn't much to choose between the teams last night. Dallas, though, seems to have lost something since the last time they pummelled the Canucks. I saw them play poorly against Edmonton on Saturday, and now another mediocre effort. What's wrong? is it just injuries?

Here's the AP article: http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/stories/H/HKN_NHL_LOCKOUT?SITE=MIDTN&SECTION=HOME&TEMPLATE=DEFAULT I'm actually pretty geeked about this. This is the most significant movement since the lockout was announced.
