Billy King's reign in Philadelphia appears to be over.
The Philadelphia Daily News is reporting that the Sixers plan to fire their general manager and replace him with New Jersey Nets general manager Ed Stefanski.
Stefanski is expected to sign a multiyear contract, and his introduction will come at a Tuesday news conference, according to the newspaper.
I'm shocked King wasn't fired after the whole fiasco with Allen Iverson happened, but he's gone now, which should have Philly fans breathing a sigh of relief. Maybe the Sixers can be contenders again soon.
"Wocka Wocka...who wants to hear a funny-ass joke?"
I just can't see King Richard's troops doing that to us again. But, I think that loss was the best thing for us, we've gelled since and seem to be on a mission. The great thing is that what the team is doing well does translate to the post season.
