Activision Publishing said it will only be releasing the following from it's Vivendi Games operation: Crash Bandicoot, Spyro the Dragon, Ice Age, Prototype, and one unannounced game.
So I guess Ghostbusters and anything else they had in the works will have to find a new publisher?
The Ghostbusters dev team seem like they aren't worried to find a new publisher. A few other games like Tim Schaefer's Brutal Legend should do well enough to find a new publisher. But who will pick up 50 Cent's sequel to his blockbuster hit from a couple years back?
It had been talked about in a previous thread here, but there's that annoying setting where you can't post in a thread once it reaches a certain age with no new posts so I had to start a new one. :)
I've been on other forums where some unaware person responds to a post 3 years old from a person who isn't even on the forum anymore. It's quite annoying.
Taken from Scotsmanality, who got it from here (uninteresting.myby.co.uk): January 15, 2004 The whole surreal story So at 6:30am on January 14th, I woke up to the doorbell buzzing. Not a short lived buzz.
