Activision Publishing said it will only be releasing the following from it's Vivendi Games operation: Crash Bandicoot, Spyro the Dragon, Ice Age, Prototype, and one unannounced game.

So I guess Ghostbusters and anything else they had in the works will have to find a new publisher?

The Ghostbusters dev team seem like they aren't worried to find a new publisher. A few other games like Tim Schaefer's Brutal Legend should do well enough to find a new publisher. But who will pick up 50 Cent's sequel to his blockbuster hit from a couple years back?

Eh, Ghostbusters and the 50 Cent game were featured at E3 as big sells by the Sony people. It'll find another publisher.

Wow, I don't remember even hearing about a Ghostbusters game. I just looked up some info on it and it sounds very cool. Hope it comes through.

It had been talked about in a previous thread here, but there's that annoying setting where you can't post in a thread once it reaches a certain age with no new posts so I had to start a new one. :)

You know, this forum is set to 31 days before closing. I'm sorry that's not long enough for you

I think after a month things need to close. You can always PM me for a thread necro.

It's no big deal. And I'm too lazy to PM first.

But I always wondered the reasoning behind it, if you don't mind.

My uneducated guess is that it's meant to stop postcount spamming, in conjunction with the inability to reply to yourself.

Ghostbusters will find another publisher, and Doublefine has stated that Brutal Legend is safe as well.

I've been on other forums where some unaware person responds to a post 3 years old from a person who isn't even on the forum anymore. It's quite annoying.
