So, I took the family out for dinner last night, and while driving home my 2 sons (ages 17 and 11) as in the back seat talking about wrestling. They have been into it quite a bit for the past year. Anyway, I could have sworn I heard them say something about "The-W", so I asked them. They said they had stumbled across it because they like the captions on the Raw threads each week. They were stunned when I told them I had been on this board since it started and then that started a discussion about where I started looking at wrestling on the net (back to MiCasa, John Petries page, and Wrestlemaniacs).

And, after the discussion, I felt just a bit older!

So you're saying I shouldn't have stopped doing caption threads? Hmmmmmm.

Wait until they ask you when you started watching!

I was talking trash with a couple teenagers at my church a couple years ago and I did the "U CANT SEE ME" thing with my hand for a laugh (we were playing football in the parking lot). They were BLOWED AWAY that I even knew what that was. Whenever I find out a kid watches wrestling, I always ask them what their first Wrestlemania was. I think theirs was 23 or 24. When I told them I cried when King Kong Bundy made Hulk Hogan bleed in the steel cage at WM2, I became The Oldest Man in the World :)

Where did John Petrie end up? I haven't thought about him in a long time.

The-W.com: It's either this or porn... which is good cause you kids are reading this instead of the porn.

Ah this movie was decent but does not deserve the great praise you all are giving it. Johnny Depp was great in it and was the only bright spot in a dull and long middle of the movie. How many times did they swap ships? I lost track around 5!
