Raw landed with a thud there at the end, didn't it?

It wasn't a totally terrible show by any means, but it just seemed. . .off in places.

It was good to see D'Lo back again. . .somehow I KNEW when Regal proclaimed himself "greatest Euro champ" ever, D'Lo was on the way. Hmm. . .on that note. . .I think Regal and D-Lo have the most reigns of anyone on the roster, don't they?

For the "Mystery Smackdown Theater" fans, here's a Hogan bit. "Hulk Hogan IS Cletus Snow in 'Smokey and the Booger Red!'"

Molly tried hard, but I doubt the WWEE! Era will be remembered for getting Mack Sennett bathing suits over again.

Jeff Hardy really has to stop sliming himself with mud and gay lavendar before he hits the ring. That tag match was awesome, but geez. . .he really calls attention to himself, and not in a good way.

The women's match was decent before it degenerated into the whole retarded Hardocre match thing. Either retire the belt or keep it to Heat where I don't have to see it.

And while Big Show tried in vain to make me care about the whole main event thingy, it wasn't to be. The whole thing ended in an anticlimax. I'm not sure how we're served by ANOTHER "evil owner" angle, but I guess that's WWEntertainment.

So did somebody forget to mike the crowd, or are they still moping about losing the Whalers?

When Spike did his entrance, my first thought was "He's doing his Hogan impersonation!" Nice to see D-Lo get a program though. Wow! Something new! On Raw!

Flair turns heel. I'm so shocked. So next week do we get Flair/X-Pac vs. Austin/Bradshaw? Or will Flair just make Austin and Bradshaw fight Pac, Hall, and Show? Whadda ya mean it worked the last four weeks?!?

Not only does JR stammer "Federation" three minutes in, he's WEARING a WWF shirt!

How excited can one man be to visit a 7-Eleven, anyway.

So did Booker get busted for shoplifting when he left with that Slurpee, or did Goldust end up buying? Well, that must be a given since he DID make it to his match...

...Hogan beats Booker/Goldust for comedy bit of the night without even trying! Hogan's a gloryhog!

...Oh, and since we've given you RVD vs. Guerrerro and RVD vs. Booker T, let's do something totally original and give you RVD vs. Booker T AND Guerrerro. But since we threw in Jeff Hardy, it's ORIGINAL!

Good slurpee. Bad show.

I actually was pretty used to "WWE" by the end of the show. When I heard it said out loud without the use of "The", it suddenly felt okay. And the logo looks okay Seperating the word "Entertainment" from the logo works out pretty good.

Was it me, or did the "We Want Flair" chants sound really fake, like someone recorded it but added an extra beat to the chant for some unknown reason?

Oh, and let me add my voice to those who are glad to see THE greatest Euro-champ ever going after his title. Welcome back to Raw D-Lo, I know I missed you. And I know I'm likely in the minority here, but I think face D-Lo can get over more than heel D-Lo.

"You used it to shove your miserable daughter down our throats week in and week out...not anymore!" - Ric Flair gives me hope, Raw 3/18/02

"I thought it was cool how HHH just tossed Jericho out of the ring and made him vanish, possibly into another dimension, at the end of the match." - Dr. Unlikely says the funniest thing I've ever read on Wienerville

Add me to that list. I know he was way over when he was the "EuroContinental Champ."

(You were NOT the first one, Kurt. ;))

I think we'll be seeing this again shortly:

I think it was off because the only "We Want" chants WWE fans know are "We Want Puppies" and "We Want Tables" so they made Flair into a two syllable word. Rather than the three syllable beat we hear with "RVD", "Y2J", "USA" and "X-Pac Sucks".

Heck is for people that don't believe in Gosh.

Maybe the product just sucked that hard? We don't get TV tapings in CT all that often, ya know. Usually just house shows. Hell, the last live show I saw was WM11.

Booker has some experience with theft from a food establishment, so....

Uh, I don't think anyone seriously believes that just because Austin said he was gonna be in the Rumble next year, that he'll definately be in it. Of course, I wouldn't rule it out.
