This is pretty cool. The result of a four year study of the geography of the Island from Lost episodes. There was a similar map that came out a few years ago, but this one is fully updated with the series having ended.
I have a few quibbles about the geography of landmarks, such as the placement of the Lighthouse and how the castaways could have missed it if it was so close to Rousseau's camp and the Looking Glass where Charlie died. But over all, this map is pretty sweet.
Unless the Lost producers themselves release a map of the Island, I'm satisfied with this.
Ha, this will only further infuriate those people who bitched mightily about the implied locations of the statue and the Black Rock. How DID the ship end up so far inland??
Awesome map.
Don't forget John, some locations (Lighthouse, the Heart) were "invisible" to certain people at certain times. "How is it that we've never seen it before?" "Guess we weren't lookin for it." ;-)
The Black Rock is wrong. In Exodus, en route to the Black Rock, Rousseau took everyone through the Dark Territory where Montand lost his arm, which we later learn was the outskirts of the Temple. Where they've put it now makes no sense. I'd say push the Radio Tower north and put the Black Rock and Temple right around where it is now.
You believe me, don't you? Please believe what I just said...

Well the hope would be that they don't try to shove people like Sanjaya who just aren't very good, but cute and a "good story" into the top 24 and instead put the most talented people in. Crazy thought, I know.
