#1 CONTENDERS MATCH: TNA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
"The Blueprint" Matt Morgan vs. Mr. Anderson

MIXED MARTIAL ARTS (MMA) MATCH
The return of Kurt Angle vs. Jeff Jarrett

CHALLENGE MATCH
Rob Van Dam vs. Immortal's Mystery Opponent

TNA WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
Beer Money vs. champions The Motor City Machine Guns

TNA KNOCKOUTS CHAMPIONSHIP
Mickie James vs. champion Madison Rayne

FORMER TAG TEAM PARTNERS BATTLE
Brother Ray vs. Brother Devon

TNA X DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP
Kazarian vs. champion Jay Lethal

TNA TELLEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP
AJ Styles vs. champion Douglas Williams

This ppv has some potential to be good with two Matches(Styles-Williams, Beer Money-MCMG) That should be very early moty candidates .Kaz Vs Lethal should be very good if given time. Bully Ray Vs Devon does not interest me in any way and should be pretty crappy. I'm not sure what to expect out of the Anderson-Morgan Match. Jarrett and Angle have had tremendous match but this will be a MMA match so it restricts things. I suspect that RVD's opponent will be Abyss and that's another hit or miss match up. Anyway my picks are Anderson, Kaz, RVD, Styles, Beer Money, Jarrett, Mickie, and Devon

#1 CONTENDERS MATCH: TNA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
"The Blueprint" Matt Morgan vs. Mr. Anderson

Only TNA could try and get people to buy a PPV by headlining it with a #1 Contenders match. I guess having your champion stuck in court will do that to you. Anderson wins in a clusterfuck finish. Morgan turns heel.

MIXED MARTIAL ARTS (MMA) MATCH
The return of Kurt Angle vs. Jeff Jarrett

Angle wins to hopefully put an end to this insipid angle.

CHALLENGE MATCH
Rob Van Dam vs. Immortal's Mystery Opponent

Is Matt Hardy's no compete up yet? If it is, I'll guess it's him. Either way, Van Dam wins.

TNA WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
Beer Money vs. champions The Motor City Machine Guns

The MCMG win close. Beer Money attack after to keep the angle going.

TNA KNOCKOUTS CHAMPIONSHIP
Mickie James vs. champion Madison Rayne

Mickie wins the title and hopefully gets a nice, long run with it.

FORMER TAG TEAM PARTNERS BATTLE
Brother Ray vs. Brother Devon

Rather than comment on how no one cares about this feud, I'll note that it's somewhat poetic that the Dudley saga has gone completely full circle back to D-Von fighting his evil family. Ray wins via shenanigans, but we get a cameo from Brother Runt to keep this angle going.

TNA X DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP
Kazarian vs. champion Jay Lethal

TNA can never make up their minds about whether they want to push Jay Lethal or not. This ends with Kazarian winning the title.

TNA TELLEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP
AJ Styles vs. champion Douglas Williams

Should be match of the night. Williams wins clean.

#1 CONTENDERS MATCH: TNA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
"The Blueprint" Matt Morgan vs. Mr. Anderson
Mr. Anderson. I have no idea why they decided to push Morgan into this spot instead of Joe or Pope. He is a good wrestler, but not as a face. TNA wants Anderson to be Austin, sadly he has two things working against him. One, he doesn't come off as natural as Steve did with the bad ass gimmick, the concussion hasn't helped either. Two, he hasn't had the great storylines like Steve did in the late 90s. I do hope they don't turn one guy for the sake of heel/face dynamic.

MIXED MARTIAL ARTS (MMA) MATCH
The return of Kurt Angle vs. Jeff Jarrett. Kurt. Its basically the Kurt Angle Invitational with a lesser wrestler in Kurt's role. I actually can see this being ok mainly due to Kurt.

CHALLENGE MATCH
Rob Van Dam vs. Immortal's Mystery Opponent.
I am banking it being Abyss since this would be the 100th match between the two of them this year. Jeff does interfer to give Abyss the win though.

TNA WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
Beer Money vs. champions The Motor City Machine Guns
Beer Money. MCMG has had a great run with a title, so its time to pass it to Beer Money.

TNA KNOCKOUTS CHAMPIONSHIP
Mickie James vs. champion Madison Rayne
Mickie. I like Madison, but TNA seems to think very little of her when they kept making Tara/Mickie THE KO feud of the last few weeks. Mickie winning elevates the title a little bit and helps a division that needs some fresh blood.

FORMER TAG TEAM PARTNERS BATTLE
Brother Ray vs. Brother Devon
Brother Devon. I care marginally about this match yet, it has clusterfuck written all over it. I do hope they end the feud here, but I highly doubt.

TNA X DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP
Kazarian vs. champion Jay Lethal
Kaz. I disagree with Its False. TNA pushes Jay, its just they push him to be a place holder champ between heels. I do think this maybe a match of the night contender if given time.

TNA TELLEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP
AJ Styles vs. champion Douglas Williams
Doug. I think the major turn won't be Anderson or Morgan, it will be AJ. AJ has been a heel for almost a year now and it is not really working. Its not really AJ's fault, but more of the fault of TNA making Ric instead of AJ the voice of Fortune. If it was just Ric and AJ the it will be ok instead TNA went with building another stable for no reason then they have the greatest stable leader of all time in Ric Flair. Doug has also earned his right to carry this belt past Sunday.

I do expect more Shengians on this PPV with Joe/Pope since Pope is now Michale Vick 2.0 which is kinda interesting. Eric has to show his face a hundred times on the PPV per his contract and I am sure Mick or Ric will give a great promo that will get buried in foolishness. I would rather see Velvet/Sarita on this PPV then the Dudleys. At least, that is an interesting take with Velvet not being able to beat Sarita in any kinda match. I do think Jeff not defending his belt is stupid. I also think Jeff having the belt with his trial going on is just plain retarded. Now, would be the time to move it on to someone else.

I would LOVE to see the buyrate on this.

Anderson beats Morgan. I think they're going to put the belt on Anderson sooner rather than later, given the negative publicity magnet Jeff has become since he turned.
Jarrett knocks Angle out with a barbell or something and steals a win.
The Mysterious Matt Hardy beats RVD after Immortal shenanigans.
Beer Money gets the belts.
Mickie wins the strap.
Bully Ray does something oh so despicable to put Devon down and moves onto a feud with Doug Williams.
Lethal beats Kaz.
Doug Williams retains against AJ. I'm glad AJ seems to be going face, but I wish it weren't his patented Loser-Heel-Becomes-Plucky-Face routine yet again.

Anderson

Angle

RVD - whoever it is.

Bully Ray

Mickie

Kaz

Williams - making AJ the only one who didn't hold u[p his end of the bargain. he needs the face turn.

Beer Money

Top to bottom, this show is solid, I will give them that. They never do a decent buy rate, so what's new here? Put on a good show, that's all I care about. I could care less about the buy rates, or what the ratings are. Just put out a good product, and I will watch it. As will most people.

It is sad that, on paper, this PPV looks like it could have some amazing matches. The real problems are a) one of duds is the main event and b) their booking is untrustworthy and has a tendency to turn good matches into clusterfucks.

Onto the predictions...

Matt Morgan vs. Mr. Anderson (w/ Mr. Anderson's concussion) - Anderson should win this, since Morgan's had his shots (and largely only had them because Anderson was injured). I -really- want this storyline to end. Both guys are talented and it's made them incredibly boring. Neither should go heel, as Morgan just turned face and Anderson going heel makes no sense if he's to be #1 contender.

Douglas Williams vs. A.J. Styles - Television Championship - Match of the Night or even MOTY contender possibilities here. Williams should go over clean and will probably lead into an A.J. face turn. Who he feuds with, I have no idea (Kazarian? Abyss *shudder*?), but that seems to be where they're leading.

Beer Money vs. The Motor City Machine Guns - Tag Team Title - Beer Money will probably go over here. The Guns have actually had a good solid run with the belts, and I don't think will lose any credibility by dropping them here. We'll get a rematch of some sort next month and then Beer Money can move onto OJ/EY or Amazing Red and his brother, maybe.

Jay Lethal vs. Kazarian - X Title - Like the other title matches, could be fantastic. Kazarian will probably go over (if the other members of Fortune win their belts, it makes A.J.'s failure to do so more bitter and pushes his face turn).

Jeff Jarrett vs. Kurt Angle - MMA "exhibition" - While I've seen some positive reaction to JJ's MMA gimmick (it does make him more interesting in the ring), I've just found the repetitive nature of the challenge itself annoying and it's time to let it go. I don't expect it, too, however, and either JJ wins by shenanigans or Kurt wins but takes a beatdown afterwards.

Bully Ray vs. Brother Devon - Yawn. Ray wins.

Mickie James vs. Madison Rayne - Knockouts Title - Mickey should definitely win here. Maybe move her into a feud directly with Sarita once Madison's out of rematches.

RVD vs. Mystery Opponent - I was struggling to figure out a surprise mystery until someone mentioned Matt Hardy earlier in thread. I'd completely forgotten he existed. It would certainly make sense and could be a good match, although Matt's hardly the terrifying surprise opponent. Better him than Scott Steiner, though.

Wasn't RVD's last mystery opponent Shannon Moore?

That was Jeff Hardy, who he took on at The Whole FN Show, back in August. It was actually an Open Challenge. It was supposed to be Joe but, he was suspended at the time.

TNA always loves to always have the new stable win all the titles. I expect that here, with the possible exception of AJ losing and being booted out for a much needed face turn.

RVD mystery opponent is likely Matt Hardy, maybe Shane Helms.

Gunns Vs. Beer Money goes one of two ways. Beer Money wins and fueds with the returning London Brawling who reform the British Invasion with Williams. Option two is that the Gunns win and feud with the Hardy Boys over GREATEST TAG TEAM EVA~!

Anderson beats Morgan by faking a head injury and taking advantage of a concerned Blueprint. I think the ways to go with Anderson is more of "Cheat to Win" Eddy Guerrero than Austin. Play up the whole asshole thing where it is more about outsmarting Morgan than being a heel.

I'll also throw out the possibility of Madison winning the belt and becoming the first female member of Immortal.

Well, I was hoping someone would post a recap of this week's Impact so I'd have some sense of what the heck is going on in TNA, but I guess nobody cares. Not that I do. So here goes...

Mr. Anderson. Morgan's been done quite enough.

Douglas Williams. Only because everyone else seems to think so.

The Gunns. I'll go a little against the grain here. Not sure whether Beer Money wins the rematch next time yet. B^)

Kaz. The only think I actually saw this week was Kaz taunting a near-unconscious Lethal and Tenay going on about how the deck was stacked against Lethal. Makes me think they're making his loss not look too bad.

Jarrett. To set up Angle getting the win back in, you know, a wrestling match of some sort.

Ray. Ray's the heel, right?

Mickie. Perhaps they can make this a bigger deal on a PPV with no men's world title match.

If the mystery opponent is someone not on the roster, such as Matt, he wins. If it's someone on the roster, RVD wins.

Wow, been a while since I even checked in on TNA. What are Ray and D'Von fighting about this time?

... and how can Jarrett vs Angle in an MMA match not be anything but a squash?

Going in blind I'll say

Anderson
Styles
Gunns
Kaz
Angle
Ray
Mickie
Mystery Man

#1 CONTENDERS MATCH: TNA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
"The Blueprint" Matt Morgan vs. Mr. Anderson- Mr. Anderson wins and Morgan turns heel again.

MIXED MARTIAL ARTS (MMA) MATCH
Kurt Angle vs. Jeff Jarrett- Angle wins by count-out or DQ, after Jarrett's security interfere.

CHALLENGE MATCH
Rob Van Dam vs. Immortal's Mystery Opponent- I don't care who the opponent wins, RVD wins.

TNA WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
Beer Money vs. champions The Motor City Machine Guns- Beer Money gets the win.

TNA KNOCKOUTS CHAMPIONSHIP
Mickie James vs. champion Madison Rayne- Mickie James.

FORMER TAG TEAM PARTNERS BATTLE
Brother Ray vs. Brother Devon- No contest after a huge brawl that won't stop.

TNA X DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP
Kazarian vs. champion Jay Lethal- Kazarian wins.

TNA TELLEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP
AJ Styles vs. champion Douglas Williams- A.J. wins

It's going to be a winning night for Immortal, because TNA loves strong heel stables as much as they love weak faces.

It was okay. The matches you thought would be good were pretty good. The matches you thought wouldn't be mostly weren't. Nothing overcame expectations. Booking was not too superdumb apart from some letdown endings.
