Xbox 360 releases: - Gears of War 2 - James Bond 007: Quantum of Solace - Tom Clancy's EndWar - Namco Museum Virtual Arcade - Secret Service: Ultimate Sacrifice - Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa - Legendary - History Channel Civil War: Secret Mission
I had never heard of this Namco Museum collection before seeing the list of releases for the week. I already have a billion retro game collections but I am still intrigued.
New on XBox Live - Naruto: The Broken Bond demo (free - out now) - Mirror's Edge demo (free - out now) - Vigilante 8 Arcade (800 points - out on Wednesday) - plus some Rock Band 2 songs that I'm going to buy! But that will be a secret until the other thread gets posted (or, y'know, you could go look them up)
(Note - I haven't found a good source that lists all the downloadable content, so this list is made up from what I've read about over the past week and probably isn't comprehensive)

Call me crazy, but I haven't been so hyped up over Gears of War 2. Don't get me wrong, I'll probably give it a try, but the sense of excitement just isn't there for me. I've heard VERY good things about Quantum of Solace, Endwar, and Legendary, so I'll be giving those a go. It's actually a solid week for 360 releases and it'll be a huge shame if all those games get overlooked because of Gears.
This is a tough month. I will probably buy Fallout 3 this week. Then Gears of War 2 comes out on Friday of all days, and that is an immediate buy as well.
I will probably hold off on Smackdown vs. Raw 2K9 and make that a birthday wish for the 18'th. Hell, I'm still playing Guitar Hero WT.
Thank goodness there aren't any Wii titles that tickle my fancy, or else I would apply for chapter 11.

The Max Payne games aren't open sandbox style games - they are very linear - there is a lot of area to explore per level, but the game pretty much holds your hand and points you in the right direction. I haven't played MP3 yet...
