You wanted the best, you got... Out of Context Quote of the Week.

"It actually got to a point where it became difficult for me to NOT think about Wang, for my thoughts were filled with visions of Wang." (CRZ)

I've been listening to way too much of "This Charming Man", and was curious as to what Johnny Marr played, guitar/effect-wise, back when the Smiths recorded that album. Well, Google was useless. And I know some band FAQs will include this information, but I didn't find anything like that for them. Can't find it online, and I don't have it in any of my old guitar magazines. So does anyone know where I could find this, as well as information for other bands?

DEAN's Nuggets of Wisdom:

"I don't want him to die. I just want him to NEED my PEE." (as seen here)

I checked my Home Recording forums and here's the best I could find:

Keep in mind it's probably more speculation than fact, for the most part. The guy who wrote Post #15 seems pretty sure of what he says, though.

That thread cites a "Guitar Player" interview with Marr from 1990 that may have something.

Keep on rockin',
