Thanks for a great season, Pick of the Week fans...see you next year at Planet Magic in Denmark, WI!

Who shot who in the what now!?!?
Squidward isn't gay; he's just a snob who thinks both Spongebob and his job at the Krusty Krab are beneath an intellectual like him. He's also a bit delusional: he thinks he can play the clarinet as well as, say, Jack Benny.
And Sandy isn't Spongebob's girlfriend; they're just friends. Hell, one has to wear protective survival gear just to visit the other's home...how in the deep blue hell would they get it on!?
And why the hell do I know all this!? Save me, Jebus...
Star wipe, and...we're out. Thrillin' ain't easy.

I read this and could immediately picture Goofy flying though the air with the traditional "WHAAAAHAAAAAHAAAAAAHOOOOOOOOOOEY!!!!!!!!!!" (I hope that's right, 'cause it has been many, many years since I saw those wonderful cartoons!)
I also was raised on a healthy diet of cartoons in my youth (Looney Tunes, Transformers, GI Joe, and yes, Voltron). Yet I never once thought to imitate the things I saw.
(However, I would like to develop the "Optimus Prime Trailer That Converts to a Point-Mass".)
Thanks for the laugh!

Ok, I've watched Spongebob before (sue me) and there are some instances of the show that could be seen as gay in one way or another;
Like this episode where Patrick and Sponge are living together taking care of a clam or an oyster or something- and Spongebob behaves like a housewife and complains that Patrick doesnt help him with the kid and the house.
Squidward gets fired or something and ends up living in Spongebob's house, Squid ends up abusing Sponge's kindness and the latter ends up in a maid outfit catering to Squidward's needs (until he bitches at him to get a job)
But how is this any different than Bugs Bunny kissing Elmer Fudd in the mouth, or dressing up like a woman?
This is not new, its just a cartoon- it doesnt matter. If a kid at an age where kids are easy to influence sees the first episode I described, they're not going to think, "Wow, homosexual marriage is really plausible- I should become gay so I can marry someone of the same sex."
There were only two things I tried to imitate from TV when I was a kid. I never gave TV a third chance to fool me.
1) Peter Pan Peanut Butter. In the advert, they waved a knife over the raw peanuts and they turned into peanut butter. When we were out of peanut butter, I had my dad spread peanuts on my sandwich, and I spread my knife on the peanuts...spreading them all over the kitchen floor.
2) The Greatest American Hero. I tried to fly like him, but all I did was fall like him.

Drudge has this posted on his site that 2 of the Arab news centers are stating this too. If so, this could be the type of thing the troops need over there to build up morale. That and better equipment!
