A whole new take on a childhood comic strip.

Garfield minus Garfield

Who would have guessed that when you remove Garfield from the Garfield comic strips, the result is an even better comic about schizophrenia, bipolor disorder, and the empty desperation of modern life? Friends, meet Jon Arbuckle. Letís laugh and learn with him on a journey deep into the tortured mind of an isolated young everyman as he fights a losing battle against lonliness and methamphetamine addiction in a quiet American suburb.

Just two examples:

Red Hood and the Outlaws sneaked up on me in the last 4 months to become one of my favorite titles of The New 52. I dig it. The uproar about hypersexualizing Starfire didn't bother me. Actually, that only made her more appealing.
