I am currently trying to put together a campaign for D&D and I want to have my party go to the future to fight some things. I thought a cool idea would be to pull a couple monsters from gamma world and have them fight that as a representative of the future time they would be in. The problem is I don't play gamma world, and I don't really know anyone who does. I am hoping someone here plays and can give me a few different monsters (name and some basic stats) that I might be able to incorporate into my story. Thanks for the help.

I assume you're talking about 4th edition D&D, and also the latest edition of Gamma World (which is 7th edition, if I'm not mistaken). The latest Gamma World is based on 4e D&D, so the monsters are easily moved from one to the other. If you're doing an earlier version of D&D then I'm not sure if the latest Gamma World monsters will work, but you can try them.

I usually just look up a monster that`s already in a Monster Manual and change the fluff. Take whatever of their CR and tell them it`s metallic and shiny and has wires and shoots lasers instead of whatever description is in the book.
Also the monster builder you can buy on the WOTC site is awesome; not only does it have every monster from every splatbook, but the general blueprints in place are quite useful.
