I just picked up a Gameshark for the PS2; and for some really dumb reason, I can't get any codes I input to work. Whenever I input a code and a title (i.e. Max Payne 2) the code shows up, at the top of the list, in pink...but I can't activate it. I enter the codes, enter the master codes, everything...and nada.
I've taken a look at the Gameshark boards, but I lost patience with the stupidity of the posters there.
I've seeked out FAQs online but have come up dry.
And finally, the manual that comes with the Gameshark is stupid, and would serve better use in my fireplace.
So...can anyone help? Thanks in advance!

DON'T CHEAT!!! :)
Thank you for your "sound advice", Dave...but in some instances, my desire to see the end of a game is stronger than my will to beat every boss with skill and whatever else. Games, like Kingdom Hearts, for example; which I found to be a terribly difficult and complicated game.
It might depend somewhat on what version you have, but I think the same procedure holds for the different versions. Chances are you got a version 3, and that's the same I have. Just put the codes in, and on the game select menu, press X when you highlight the game you want. The game name should start flashing, and that means that all codes that have been put in for the game have been activated. If there are some codes that you don't want on, then when you highlight the game name, press right to see the individual codes and press X on each one you want to use, and then press start. That should get it working.
