| #1 Posted on 25.8.08 1450.40 | So I'm going over to a friend's house on Saturday to watch some college football. I was thinking of making something, but I can't think of anything that will be easy to make, taste awesome, and be easy to transport (most of my "signature" dishes would probably require me to do some cooking over there). Any suggestions or recipes would be welcome. Thanks in advance for the help.

1 cup thawed, chopped frozen spinach 1 1/2 cups thawed, chopped frozen artichoke hearts 6 ounces cream cheese 1/4 cup sour cream 1/4 cup mayonnaise 1/3 cup grated Parmesan 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
Boil spinach and artichokes in 1 cup of water until tender and drain. Discard liquid. Heat cream cheese in microwave for 1 minute or until hot and soft. Stir in rest of ingredients.
Tastes better hot, but you can warm it in the microwave when you get there or bring a crock pot to let it sit in. | samoflange

Buffalo Chicken Dip
NGREDIENTS:
8 oz. pkg. cream cheese 1/2 cup blue cheese or ranch salad dressing 1/2 cup hot wing sauce 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese or shredded mozzarella cheese 2 cups shredded cooked chicken
DIRECTIONS:
1. HEAT oven to 350F. Place cream cheese into deep dish 9-inch pie plate. Microwave 1 min. to soften. 2. WHISK in salad dressing, Frank's RedHot Sauce and cheese until smooth. Stir in chicken. 3. BAKE 20 min. or until mixture is heated through; stir. Garnish as desired. Serve with crackers or vegetables.
Microwave Directions: Prepare as above. Microwave, uncovered, on HIGH 5 min. until hot, stirring halfway through cooking. Tip: For a party buffet table, keep this dip hot in a small crock pot or fondue pot. Tailgating Tip: Prepare dip ahead and place in heavy disposable foil pan. Place pan on grill and heat dip until hot and bubbly.

Spread a layer of cream cheese on the bottom of a baking dish. Cover with canned chili. Sprinkle with shredded cheese. Bake at ~350 until its good and melty.
