I finally picked up my game cube over the summer and have been playing nothing but GC games as of late. of course, that could have something to do with finally picking Metroid: Prime plus also getting Mario Golf and F-Zero.
By the way in Story mode for F-Zero I am having the damndest time getting past chapter 3. Anyone have any advice?

Apparently, Nintendo's next move is to bundle a special Zelda compilation disk with new Gamecubes (cube.ign.com). This is all based off some artwork that IGN obtained, but it would seem as though people who get purchase a Gamecube in the future will also get a disc containing ports of Zelda I and II, OoT, and Majora's Mask, as well as a playable demo of WindWaker.
Hopefully, this will be available to those who already own a 'Cube (IGN speculates that maybe it will be the pre-order bonus for Four Swords). I certainly wouldn't mind adding this to my collection.

Yeah, I'm with you. I did get the port of OoT with my purchase of WW, but I would pay any price to get a port of Zelda I and the underrated II- The Adventure Of Link. Finally, my unemployment checks will go to something worthy of its use.
Molly, Stacy and Daffney all in WWE? I suddenly lost all my will to complain about anything regarding the WWE. Hope I don't lose my street cred for this.
TS, the greatest Wiener rated 6.1554 ever to live!! Oops, I mean 5.5...4.5?? Oh, dammit! I guess Notorious FAB was right.
Rumours are now appearing that Sony may follow suit (ps2.ign.com). I doubt this is true, but stranger things have happened. Still, the original Nintendo price drop was leaked via a Wal-Mart ad, so maybe this has legs...?
Sony is #1 across the board, by a WIDE margin. GameCube is #2 in Japan; Xbox is #2 in America.
A quick Google search dug up some US numbers from July 2003, reportedly from NPD Funworld:
PS2: 312,992 sales in July, 18,485,673 overall in US Xbox: 136,841 sales in July, 5,682,847 overall in US Cube: 126,561 sales in July, 4,429,930 overall in US GBA: 488,671 sales in July, 15,269,930 overall in US
This is obviously before the recent price drop, which will spike GameCube sales for a while, but keep in mind that the above doesn't cover software. Getting Cubes into homes is only half the battle.
And since I love you all, here are some August sales numbers for software and hardware. Holy CRAP, that's a lot of PS2 Madden sales...
If anyone wants to dig up numbers for Europe or Japan, they're welcome to do so.

I like the deal as much as anyone, but Pac-Man Vs. makes the Namco Museum worth the price of purchase also. It's mind-boggling to see how Nintendo and Namco were ahead of their time with this release. Pac-Man Vs.
